Sounds like an excellent idea! But, let’s prove it to those skeptical gun nuts by first mandating it for all police officers and soldiers, who will face those criminals and enemy soldiers using outdated and dangerous “dumb gun” technology.

Does one need any more proof that science is an enemy of progressives?
Also does one need any more proof that politics exist as a gift from God to allow those without any discernable talents whatsoever to maintain an income (even though that income is not deserved and comes mostly from corruption).
These people define slime and idiocy.

Commie’s like this, should not be allowed to speak, even on private property or inside their own house, without having their speech vetted ahead of speaking, approved, and receive a permit. Then, all speech uttered must be recorded and filed just in case someone was or will be offended.

>>Deutch also said that there are efforts underway to require gun manufacturers to incorporate smart technology in firearms but that the NRA is standing in the way.

There’s more than one gun per person in the USA. If they started mandating that all new guns be “smart” guns, then we wouldn’t buy them, but we would still have almost 400 million guns.

But if Douche still thinks its a great idea, let’s do a pilot project and federal LEOs, security guards, and bodyguards use the “Smart” guns for five years first—just to build up some data on their effectiveness and reliability in real-world applications.

Communist wannabe politicians from Florida shouldn’t be able to shoot off their big, commie mouths without their dental records being on file with local law enforcement.

I recall reading a 1976 Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police position paper on gun control in which it said (among other things) “the licencing, registration, and serialization of firearms will not act as a deterrent to violence and will not necessarily identify the person perpetrating the crime” and described registration of all firearms as “administratively unrealistic and unworkable”. Law enforcement likely had far more sensible thinking on this issue back then as opposed to mindless politicians and Media Party hacks of today.

Next they will demand a firearm that can read your mind and then decide to unlock or not.

Has he issued such “smart” firearms to his bodyguards and police?

Ted Deutch”

‘Deutch was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, the son of Jean (née Mindlin) and the late Bernard Deutch. His grandparents were Jewish immigrants from Belarus, Russia. A graduate of Liberty High School in Bethlehem, Deutch graduated from the University of Michigan, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of Consider magazine and was awarded the Harry S. Truman Scholarship, and from the University of Michigan Law School.

As a member of the National Young Leadership Cabinet of United Jewish Communities, Deutch organized over 2,500 people to march on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., with the intent of pressuring Congress on a slate of issues affecting children and the elderly. At the end of his tenure in the state senate, Deutch served as Vice Chair of the Committee on Regulated Industries, and the Policy and Steering Subcommittee of the Ways and Means Committee.”

So Deutch is a Secular Progressive Jewish carpetbagger from PA.

Democrat politicians should not be able speak without some sort of verification like a thumbprint that’s needed to unlock a smartphone.
