The people of this country elected Donald J. Trump to change things and this kind of politics is part of the problem, its not a solution.

I’ll vote against Ducey forever if he does this. Not that it will stop him. The GOP-E is strong in Arizona, and it doesn’t give a rat’s rear end about us commoners.

The Senate is not the same as the presidency, and frankly she should never have gotten away with that.

I would predict that she would rapidly form a threesome with Murkowski and Collins.Strike that idea, then.

I think politicians should have a business background - l don’t know why it became the norm to elect only lawyers.

Besides, where does it say in the Constitution, a governor can't appoint a wife until the election? "I cry for this great republic" - What a drama queen.
You do understand it is temporary, correct?

Hearings! LOL. Please tell me what other governor has held hearings before appointing a replacement. And you do understand it is temporary? Please tell me you do.

"In the end, it was about Kennedy resigning from the Supreme Court," said the aide. "Confirming a (SCOTUS) replacement before the election is considered in the interest of the national Republican party, so that it doesn't become an issue for Dems to run on in every race," said the aide, meaning every race for Senate or Congress. So, based on past performance McCain will hang on until the vote so he can screw us again and vote against the nominee. If he dies first he can officially become a Democrat so he can continue to vote.

John Kyl was/is a conservative. He was/is one of the very few senators for which I’ve had respect.
But he retired for a reason, he couldn’t stand the toxic environment in DC. Can’t say I blame hm.

I strongly disagree. Kyl started out with the tag Conservative, but over time developed into a swamp creature. As a product ofan American Law School, perhaps U of Az as I remember, he was subjected to the typical , mediocre legal education offered by almost all American law schools in the latter half of the 20th Century.

“Seriously, what kind of a spouse does that.”
Oh, I assumed it was sarcastic as being in response to John McCain’s treatment of his first wife and cheating on her with Cindy.
