AMLO is heavily favored to win election next Sunday. He may be a left-wing nut, but he is an honest one. He is promising to fight to open the U.S. border for everybody, no bones about it.
And he has pretty much made no secret of the fact that he's in the hip pocket of the drug cartels. He has a long history of friendship with the drug cartels and is making a drug amnesty provision the centerpiece of his campaign. Mexico is already on the verge of being overwhelmed by drug cartel violence, and AMLO seems ready to make it official. Cartels have murdered hundreds of politicians in the lead-up to the voting, most from the two establishment parties. The independent AMLO, however, is famous for traveling without armed bodyguards and refraining from taking security measures. Why should he? He's one of their own.

So, are his statements kind of like a declaration of war or something? Because one could surely interpret his words as something like. I’m thinking President Trump isn’t the kind of person that you want to pick that kind of fight with. Hell, one press conference asking for armed volunteers to secure the border and there’d probably be wave after wave of people on their way down there.
The American people don't need a cue from our President to protect our country if "OMELETTE" {flat eggs filled with cheese} wants to send his people here unlawfully to invade he better break out some of those guns obama sent him ! !

Then he will wage demographic war against the US. The immivasion will be turbocharged. And the cash will flow back to him and his buddies.
And Trump will hang him on a wall for all to see. Easily provoked, AMLO will be thrown some bait which he will eagerly grab...only to find out it was chum. His gang bangers will be drawn into fights with US police and military giving us the excuse to go after them.
In the end that’s the real solution. Military incursion into Northern Mexico with the objective of wiping out the traffickers the way they just did with ISIS.

And the day after this Leftist aggressor is elected, President Trump should stop all money transfers to Mexico. Let AMLO take care of his own poor instead of fobbing them off on us and then having them wire billions of U.S. dollars to his s**thole country to keep it afloat. This post is made in Mexico. Drug Cartels like any other business or industry always like to grow. So they did turn their hidden cameras and monitor cell phone gadgets to up their game by doing kidnapping. Then they struggle among themselves, and have a group called ZETAS who are trying to gain territory from the EMPRESARIOS, and they trying to take out LA FAMILIA de MICHOACAN, and then a new gorup on the block related to the LEGNEDARIOS.. I have had contact with people who say they have key people positioned in the Army, in the Federal Police, State Pilice and Judges. The group you hope wins all of this is the AUTO DEFENSE group who is insisting tat Mexican have a right to bear arms. NO, it doesnb’t to go soft on the narco lords.

I’m sure Carlos Slim is all about invading America with the illiterate from Cen/South America.
But, along with what you mentioned. There ain’t no making peace with the Cartels. They got their hands in all sorts of things. The minute ALMO shows any kind of weakness with, we’ll need armed men and women, every 6 feet on the border. The level of violence will be spectacular. And if I’m not mistaken, Nieto was also very cozy with the Cartels and that didn’t slow down the carnage.
Goodness knows why we didn’t when had the chance the first time.
