Like the annoying TV panelists who have days to ruminate over every alternative and new facts coming in and possible friendly phrases to use to defuse an angry psychotic killer——but the officer can be killed in about 2 seconds or decide to shoot a would be killer in another 1-2 or die themselves. No time for PC and exhausting spoken phrase alternatives.
