Why can illegal Guatemalans keep their kids during detention when Americans can't? If I commit a crime, can I simply be let go because I have my daughter with me?
This is what the left and phony repulsive metropoloids at Fox et al are vying for... because hate Trump.
So i illegally enter the Senate chambers with a knife and my five year old. Ya think the two of us get a free room at the Weston until a trial date is set?
Ask Paul Manafort.
The democrats care nothing about America they just want to pack as many illegals in here (at taxpayer expense)so they can build a bigger voter base.
Bruce Elliott, a talk show host here in Baltimore made a related point this morning that if a parent in the military gets deployed do the kids get to come? Let’s set up a daycare in Kabul.
I'm really upset that you posted it first. See #19
Entering into the U.S. illegally is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of between $50 and $200 for the first offense. If you were arrested for a comparable crime you would be released on bail, probably on your own recognizance. You would not be facing any prison time. You would not have to bring your daughter to jail with you. And even if you were put in jail, your daughter would go to a family member or foster home, not in a juvenile detention center.
There are a lot of ways to support what's happening to illegals and their families. Comparing it to what you would face for a similar crime isn't one of them.
Do you always take your Daughter with you when you commit a crime ?
Bill crosses fingers.
I was asking the same exact question. If I’ve got my son with me and I get arrested, I think he’s going to be separated from me.
For that matter, why do I have to stand for a judge entering court whose decision to NFL players is it is OK to kneel for the Flag and National Anthem?
In the court where I’m employed, protective services are called if no adults are available to get children. Yes, some think the warrant will not be served if they have no one to get the children. It doesn’t work, though. You would be amazed how some can be there shortly. Some times they are sitting I the car.
Well....she should be included in the indictment truth be told.
Well, they allow that in Guatemala, right?
Further, when the women start crying to avoid jail, the men just watch. Our judge will tell them that he grew up with a sister who could cry on demand. He tells them he will wait till they are done. And he politely does, and then proceeds. You have to know what then men are thinking.
Can’t wait for Take your Children to commit a Felony Day.

You left out that on the second offense it becomes a felony. The people they are arresting on the border are not first time offenders. They are coyotes ferrying the young ones across for pay.
These people are illegal. Load them up, ship them out. Mexico enabled their transit, so dump them back there.
OR mom doesn’t go to jail... she gets to go to social services with kids.
These people are mindless puppets.
Parents who intentionally put their children’s LIVES at risk don’t get to keep their children! For years we’ve been hearing about how dangerous the border crossing is. How many people die, get raped, robbed, assaulted, and these parents intentionally inflict that danger upon their children. In addition, they teach their children to LIE (where are you from? where were you born? where do you live?), avoid authority, and disregard the laws of a country they claim to want to join. I’m sorry, we are NOT to blame for trying to SAVE THOSE CHILDRENS LIVES! Their parents are to blame for risking those lives needlessly! We must separate them. We must do it for the children!
