rest of headlind:....on 'street cred,' Trump ex-lawyer says.
Video.
Former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort is being held in "solitary confinement" after his bail was revoked, in an "outrageous violation" of his civil liberties, former Trump lawyer John Dowd told Fox News on Tuesday.
"Paul is in solitary confinement for his own safety from the general prison population," Dowd said. "The warden is concerned that someone would violently attack Paul just for street cred.

And they can hold him for years on false charges without trial. Pretty neat country we have now.
writ of habeas corpus or presidential pardon
I don’t think a person not convicted of something can be pardoned
“I dont think a person not convicted of something can be pardoned”
See: Dick Nixon
Any other person of his ilk, would, if imprisoned at all, be confined to a low security country club. I hate injustice. And “God abhors a dishonest scale”.
He’s considered VIP so they will always have a different environment because they are charged big bucks for that country club security. That’s always been available.
But he isn’t in a country club environment. That’s my point. Anyone else in his shoes, would be.
I think the record for being held without trial is 27 months. There was a Scotus ruling saying that was perfectly ok. I remember looking that up when clive Bundy was approaching the.2 year mark..
If he’s convicted he will be is my point. The guy has fat too many ‘friends’ that will push those buttons.
I hope Cliven bundy can slip him a note on how to pull your own teeth when he is denied medical care.
Have they started Waterboarding ?
...I dont think a person not convicted of something can be pardoned..
That’s exactly what Nixon got. For all Federal crimes between the break-in and the pardon date.
Why should he? Plant. Lock him up. He needs water and once he gets it he will sprout.
Rchard Nixon was pardoned before being charged with any crime.
Excerpt from Proclamation 4311:
As a result of certain acts or omissions occurring before his resignation from the Office of President, Richard Nixon has become liable to possible indictment and trial for offenses against the United States. Whether or not he shall be so prosecuted depends on findings of the appropriate grand jury and on the discretion of the authorized prosecutor. Should an indictment ensue, the accused shall then be entitled to a fair trial by an impartial jury, as guaranteed to every individual by the Constitution.
It is believed that a trial of Richard Nixon, if it became necessary, could not fairly begin until a year or more has elapsed. In the meantime, the tranquility to which this nation has been restored by the events of recent weeks could be irreparably lost by the prospects of bringing to trial a former President of the United States. The prospects of such trial will cause prolonged and divisive debate over the propriety of exposing to further punishment and degradation a man who has already paid the unprecedented penalty of relinquishing the highest elective office of the United States.
Now, Therefore, I, Gerald R. Ford, President of the United States, pursuant to the pardon power conferred upon me by Article II, Section 2, of the Constitution, have granted and by these presents do grant a full, free, and absolute pardon unto Richard Nixon for all offenses against the United States which he, Richard Nixon, has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 20, 1969 through August 9, 1974.
Thanks.....i did not put that together
so much for speedy trial
Here’s a quote from an old Irish patriot about British justice
They tried me in my absence; they can hang me in my absence.
This is all because they lost. This is just the beginning. It will get out of hand and very ugly down the road. President Trump will not be President forever and the left is sharpening the knives.
“He shouldnt be in jail.
But solitary can mean different things. Is he in a sensory deprivation situation, or does he just have a single cell, without a room mate?”
I’ve read some tweets saying he was in a VIP section which meant he had his own 8 X 10 cell.
See: Bill Clinton (included in Carter's blanket pardon of draft dodgers without even being specifically named, much less charged.) Unlike Nixon he provided a written confession of guilt.
Are the left worried about his loss of Rights like the Mexicans?
