Tea Party Patriots Action Co-founder Jenny Beth Martin traveled to the U.S.-Mexico border to chat one-on-one with some border patrol agents who are fed up with the federal government and are taking matters into their own hands.
Martin shared footage of her walk and talk along the border with Zach Taylor, a retired border patrol officer and current chairman of Chairman of National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers.
Zach Taylor Interview - Send them Back
Martin and Taylor walked along the Bryan Terry Border Patrol Station in Bisbee, Arizona, named after the border patrol agent who lost his life in a gun fight with a drug cartel. Martin said a similar attack occurred the very morning of their interview on June 12. A border agent was shot multiple times but was saved thanks to his bulletproof vest.
Taylor wasted no time sounding off on Washington's "tone deaf" policies. They somehow keep making the problem worse.
"The whole reason that this push to come to the United States is becoming so violent is because we are turning into a lawless society," Taylor explained. "There is no downside to violating the law. You can come here illegally, you can act like youve been here for 10 years. You can say youre a DACA person and thats all you got to do and you get signed up."
He offered a detailed solution - one he said would strike fear in anyone thinking of entering our country illegally. Let the agents conduct a biography interview of any undocumented person at the border, see if they qualify, and take them directly to an immigration judge, he proposed. Taylor predicted that 80 percent or more would not make the cut. At that point, we should fly them back to home country on military aircraft. That way, their comrades "can see 300 people getting off an aircraft that says, 'U.S. Air Force.'"
"They will figure out the game is over," Taylor concluded.
Martin also spoke with Mark Dannels, the sheriff of Cochise County, Arizona. He shared how he and other law enforcement officials in the area are not messing around when it comes to community safety.
"Weve sent a strong message to cartels you will not be doing business in this county," the sheriff said .
Where the federal government wont prosecute, they will - including juveniles. It may sound "cold," he said, but those kids are safer in his hands than the cartels.
Both Taylor and Dannels agreed that amnesty will get them nowhere fast.
Washington has been "dancing all around the problem since 1986," Taylor said. It's time to make the final move.
Exactly. Mexico is a big promoter of this - ship them back and punish Mexico. Treat them like we do enemies, sanctions, freeze funds, all those wire transfers quads up to a pretty penny.
I doubt it would work. The border jumpers would just memorize a story before they got to the border and The ACLU would probably have legal reps there for them.
A not unreasonable solution except for the fact that we don't have enough immigration judges. Ted Cruz has proposed hiring hundreds more to handle the backlog but for whatever reason the Administration has been reluctant to hire more.
That's not necessarily much of a deterrent value by itself. He's out the cost and time it took it to get him from his shithole to the border, which might not be much at all if he's from Mexico. A month in bread-and-water lock-up before his repatriation would be a step in the right direction.
One lone Spectre at altitude just raining all hell down on an area would do the trick.Never knowing where or when would unnerve most would be violators.
And that could well be the unspoken but underlying reason for separating children from parents. A mother won't put their child in a boat unless it's less dangerous than what faces them on land. If the fear of what happens to them here is greater than their fear of what happens to them where they come from then the problem takes care of itself.
Turn off the damn magnet! The Fourteenth Amendment does not guarantee automatic citizenship to foreigners born here! There should be no jobs given to illegals! There should be no drivers liscences given to illegals!
Tea Party? What Tea Party?
You should see the chrome dome killery sycophant whos foaming at the mouth on Fox right now.
“How dare you! Blah, blah, blah!”
ROFL
Amen!
We don’t need to hire all these judges.
Just kick these damn subhuman cockroaches out.... No judge, no jury, just GTFO.
Amen brother. From your lips to God’s ears and I hope the feckless congress gets off their thumbs to make the immigration reform we need. Not the one the left wants to keep invading America with illegals.
I swear; sometimes I wonder why the left even exists in America. They clearly hate this country and do everything they can to destroy it every chance they get.
In my opinion all leftists should be deported permanently and forever. They don’t belong in a country they are trying to destroy.
Actually, all you do is hang it by its head from the chin.
Sounds like a plan.
Hang a sign that says “ you’re not a citizen! We’re going to tax you at 50%!”
Bravo. Had the same idea. Cheap deterant and effective warning message. In the meantime, withhold $3000 of money sent to Mexico for the cost of processing each illegal to send them back home. That will be the cost for them not stopping these assholes in the first place
Yeah, we do. They're entitled to a hearing before deportation.
The only thing they are entitled to is a boot print on their backsides as they are shown the door.
Not one penny of taxpayers money should ever be spent feeding and sheltering these cockroaches as they wait for a BS waste of taxpayers money trial.
Not one of these cockroaches have a legitimate reason to claim asylum. They were “coached” to claim asylum by their own government, by the democrats, and by these immigration “rights” groups as a way to fast track entry.
Screw them, napalm all of them and be done with it.
