A Swiss centre for processing failed asylum seekers had claimed to have lost track of 60 percent of the 649 migrants awaiting deportation who they say have simply disappeared. From March of 2017 to June of this year 649 failed asylum seekers have been sent to the Embrach referral centre located in the canton of Zurich, but officials say that 309 of the failed migrants have simply disappeared and authorities have little to no idea where they may have gone, 20 minutes reports.
The centre is meant to be the final step for failed asylum seekers before they find out whether they will be sent back to another European country as per the EUs Dublin regulations, or back to their home country.
The State Secretariat for Migration confirmed that around 500 of the migrants had departed the centre altogether, with the government losing track of 309 of them.
Remarkably, very few countries actually detain failed asylum seekers scheduled for deportation prior to expelling them, allowing many to go underground or even carry out terror attacks, as in the case of Anis Amri in Berlin and Rakhmat Akilov in Stockholm.

Sounds like the Swiss have the same insane system as the U.K.
Instead of locking up the gimmegrant invaders and then deporting them, they allow them to self register until their deportation. Utterly insane and clearly designed to just allow them to disappear.
Put a bounty on them.
Soylent Green is people.
I hadn't thought of it from that angle.
There's more than one way to vanish.
Like everything Swiss, it’s full of holes.
Hardly anyone is taking seriously, this invasion/occupation of the Western World.
Stay home. Fix your own problems. Leave us the hell alone!
Here is what is happening today in America - they get signed up for free everything - free health care, free EBT cards, free money from the government where they don’t need an address in order to get all the money and all free stuff.
Result is refugees can come in and “disappear” while we, the American taxpayers, are footing the entire bill.

You know Muslims' can't leave us infidels alone.
We must be subjugated, converted, or killed to please Allah.
This has been going on for 1400 years and will continue unless Muslims get new orders from Allah. Tom
They will eventually be caught and dealt with; it’s not like they blend in well there in Switzerland. Most of them had been using a route up through Italy, into Switzerland and then finally crossing into Germany - the Swiss halted that “free passage” some months ago. This group that is being held must some of the ones that went missing between the Italian and German borders, thinking “Hey, this place is pretty nice - think I’ll stay here.” Perhaps the missing ones are headed for Germany again now, rather than risk deportation back home.
Switzerland is my second country. I am very sad to hear this because when I was there, it was nigh impossible to hide in the country. Every possible address is registered and every possible person is registered. And in most places, neighbors will notice unregistered people and mention them to authorities, such as foreign family members living with someone. There was little chance to live as an illegal for any length of time there.
usually, Switzerland looks at the failings of PC in other countries and doesnt let it get that far. They may have blown it this time.
Nah... they just don’t feel like waiting for the paperwork.
Happens like this everywhere.
If the swiss are having a problem like this then imagine what trouble less meticulous countries.
of course it gets damn cold in Switzerland and crawling out from under rocks to be arrested (or their corpses being found frozen to death) is a likely fate for these invaders.
Check the closest mosque.
I agree, but most of them are not coming in as illegals from North and Central America.
