President Trump will reportedly meet with the entire Republican caucus on Capitol Hill Tuesday to push the caucus toward passing two immigration bills in the coming days.
A House leadership aide confirmed to the Washington Examiner the meeting will take place at 5:30 Tuesday evening and comes on the heels of a tumultuous end of the week for the White House's messaging on immigration reform.
The official House schedule for next week lists immigration votes as possible, but not definite.

He has been great....just worry deep state will win. Been kicked in the gut to much by deep state for many years.
If it is good enough for the president it is ok by me. I just want the wall and i dont mean that border security bs. I want what we voted for!! A big beautiful WALL
Re: “Hes made that clear.”
In Trump’s first campaign speech in 2015, Trump promised to “end DACA” on his “first day” as president.
If Trump had said, “I am going to end DACA by giving Amnesty and a path to citizenship to 1.8 million illegal immigrants,” he would have been laughed off the stage.
Just look here...'IT'S SHOW TIME!'.......today 7 Democrat'Congressmen gain entry to NJ 'immigration detention center' after arguing with cops, literally banging on the door.... Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., said that he was forcibly holding a door open at the site....We have gotten the door open at the Elizabeth, NJ ICE detention center and refusing to let it close until we are given access to the detainees, he wrote...Now theyre asking us to empty our pockets like were common criminals? Rep. Bill Pascrell of New Jersey tweeted. We are duly elected Members of Congress and we want access, he wrote.
Pro-immigrant protesters gathered outside the immigration detention facility as the congressmen banged on the door to gain access.
Nadler was joined at the facility Sunday by New Jersey Reps. Pascrell, Frank Pallone and Albio Sires, as well as fellow New York Reps. Hakeem Jeffries, Carolyn Maloney and Adriano Espaillat.
After officials at the facility relented and allowed the Democratic representatives to access the building, the reporters who had been following the congressmen apparently staged their own act of defiance.
With congressional Members just allowed inside to see prisoners and conditions, jail staff now asking all press to leave and go outside, Pascrell wrote. Press and staff refusing to move.
500 days and you haven’t learned a thing.
Fair trade? 12-18 million new mouths to feed for a border that could be secured with the military. Yeah GREAT trade /s
Look like a bunch of racist white guys.
Trump folding...Trump threatens....Trump to do..
Trump to put up...TrumpTrumpTrumpTrumpTrumpTrumpTrump.....
You sound like this guy looks!
Nader’s, (who is leading this ‘show time’ exibition) district includes one of the nations ‘largest communities of ‘new’ immigrants’....and he’s fully in the tank on everything we’re against.
Dems always seem to bring these stooges out when they’re afraid of loosing.
Don’t know why you’re so demanding...but it makes your posts annoying frankly. Trumps nobody’s doormat and if you think that you know nothing about him. Enlarge your vision of what’s going on..
Both those bills are amnesty horrors—and if either passes the House they will be made worse by the Senate.
So we can only hope Trump is pushing them knowing they don’t have enough votes to pass the House. But I don’t like it when he plays that game, as he did earlier with DACA, of saying, “See, I tried to pass it but Congress, and particularly the Dems, wouldn’t agree to it!”
That seems the more likely because he is supporting both bills—which is kind of nonsensical for the supposed hard bargainer.
If that scenario happens, he could well end up with his veto overridden. Again, I don’t like this game at all—and the squishes could advocate for something on their own, without this game of “chicken” being played.
I believe Donald anticipates a “Children, children!” moment after Dems and GOP piss on one another in public and fail to budge. The president can’t introduce a bill, but can write one (as anybody can).
Of course, the Trump WH hasn’t been writing any bills themselves.
Maybe it will after gridlock, maybe it’ll just let the two parties just glare at one another.
