Old news. Since Trump’s appearance this morning, it appears the White House is walking back a bit. I believe Trump supports at least Goodlatte’s bill.
It ought to be done. But politicians are very reluctant to remove such officials, because it opens the door to possible trouble for them.
So, I guess it’s wait and see. But WE should certainly push for it, however we can.
Similar rumors have been circulating since Ryan said he was leaving at the end of his term.
Until they actually vote him out, it is all speculation and more rumor.

One thing is certain - Ryan is selling out the country for some backdoor sweetheart, big payoff deal he has arranged. This is the continuing story of RINOS putting their self-interests ahead of the country’s. It is also in stark contrast to POTUS whose every decision always puts the country’s interests first. The entrenched Deep State is not going to give up their corrupt gravy train without a fight. Sending Ryan into early retirement would provide a strong message to the Deep State that business as usually has ended under Trump.
