House GOP leaders distributed an immigration bill to conference members Thursday, in hopes of finding a permanent legislative fix for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) while advancing some of President Trump's immigration and border initiatives.

I'm pretty sure Trump knows this, too.
This should be his counter offer: Wall built, e-verify enacted, end chain migration tomorrow.
Once those are accomplished, THEN I'll give you DACA.
Trump can be the one to "slow roll" DACA.
America comes first.
Correct, a Wall will not pass the Senate in an election year.
Hell, I’d be surprised if a Wall passes the Republican House.
Typical political stunt: Release this disaster of a bill the day the IG report is issued, in order to blunt the outrage while the attention is focused elsewhere.

New Hse GOP ldrshp immigration bill allows DACA population to apply for a six-year indefinitely renewable contingent non-immigrant status.”
Those elible must have entered the US before June 15, 2007 and are under age 31 as of June 15, 2012.
New Hse ldrshp immigration bill will provide $25 billion to build Trump’s wall. Ends catch and release. Eliminates the visa lottery system, reallocating 55,00 visas to a merit-based green card program.
Overall visa numbers do not change.
Well, Nancy Pelosi says we have to pass it so we can know what is in it.
I am waiting to hear from Trump... though, bottom line, nothing will stop me from voting against the dems in midterm, even if it means voting for someone who votes for this bill. I am not going to throw away everything Trump accomplished just to send some BS message that actually serves no actual purpose but cuts off my nose to spite my Trumpian face.
Funny how they try to push this thing through the very day the IG report comes out. Nice smoke and mirrors GOPe!!!!
Good for you! I cant stand when these invaders, and even legal hispanics do this. They do NOT assimilate! They view the US as an extension of their country they came from.
Try talking to I/T recruiters; it’s not much different in a lot of cases.
Unless you get a 20-something that only understands buzz words.
Ryan trying to kill the Gop in the midterms ?
Or are they planning to ram thru a worse amnesty Nov- Dec with Mitchy Poo !
This is a disaster .
The Gop Pushing Daca Amnesty for millions before the midterms .
Trump is working with in this ?
Miller is all over this .
Why ?
[Well, Nancy Pelosi says we have to pass it so we can know what is in it.]
Unfortunately, that’s just stupid enough to work on most liberal voters.
Which is worse....... Spanish or Eubonics?
both!
Let me guess....we have to pass the bill to see what’s in it??
Why bother giving them citizenship?
They merely dream of making $15/hour instead of $5/day.
They don’t dream of voting for Democrats, but they will vote for Democrats if they can.
Your rational whelms me

Ebonics is American
“hopes of finding a permanent legislative fix”
There will be severe illegal immigration problems until SECTION I of Amendment XVI is replaced with citizenship of the mother prior to conception.
If you remove the legal ability to create an anchor baby, then illegal immigration becomes a law enforcement problem that can be dealt with.
The USA has been down the amnesty road seven times before.
How many times must the law-abiding, 1040 income tax citizens of the USA be betrayed?
In 1924 mass immigration was ended.
By the 1960’s prosperity was the norm. A man could get a job that would support a family, buy a suburban house and a mother could mother her children full-time.
Betrayed again by our own party.

That’s because it’s not really our party. We’re in the Trump party (or, at least, *I* am!) that doesn’t exist (yet). The vast majority of the Republicans simply obstruct Trump, the same as the RATS do. Both deserve to be swept into the dustbin of history.
