The US says its discussions with North Korea are moving "more quickly than expected" ahead of the summit in Singapore on Tuesday.
The preliminary talks between officials have been taking place ahead of the unprecedented first meeting.
The White House also confirms that President Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un will hold a one-on-one meeting, with only translators present.
The outcome may determine the fate of North Korea's nuclear programme.
The US insists it will accept nothing less than complete denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula.
North Korea has said it is willing to commit to denuclearisation, but that term is open to interpretation.
It is also unclear what concessions Pyongyang could demand in return - which makes the summit very hard to predict, according to analysts....

But my guess is that your 5-10 years will be more like 1-2 years. Kim is eager for NK to join the modern world, and South Korea will be glad to help them. Probably there will be unification under the South’s leadership.

So Kim is warned (South Korea? / US? / Chinese?) he must remove X, Y and Z literally or risk a coup Vs a prosperous historic future.
Now, having removed the internal threat, the West and East are ready to embrace and groom Kim having established trust by saving his life now and promising protection in the future.

In a way NK military leaders are no different than the Soros globalists. Obama was as much of a puppet as Kim.

North Korea’s state media has described the talks between Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump as part of a “changed era” – the secretive state’s first comment on the momentous summit.
The KCNA news agency said the two leaders will exchange “wide-ranging and profound views” during their meeting at the five-star Capella Hotel on Sentosa Island.
It reported that the discussions are going to focus on “the issue of building a permanent and durable peacekeeping mechanism on the Korean peninsula, the issue of realising the denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula, and other issues of mutual concern”.
