Yeah right. ... I took Spanish for two years in high school and don't remember squat. :-) I doubt the guy gets much practice speaking English since he was in school.
Kim may also prefer translators so he can communicate freely without struggling to find words and phrases like "you give me pallets of cash and I stop building nukes" and stuff like that.

Problem is, that he is most likely the one of a dozen in NK who can speak English.

If this happens and this guy is real, it wouldn’t surprise me if Kim emotionally breaks down and ask Trump to protect him from his own people, once they start seeing glimpses of freedom.
I was stationed in Germany for three years, and learned enough German to order a beer, talk to girls, and basic, day-to-day chit chat. However, I was told to stay away from trying to discuss religion, politics, or most technical/mechanical topics.

At an international boarding schools, the language of instruction is usually English - not Korean.
When men of such different ages meet, there is always a certain father/son interaction. Let’s pray that Kim sees what a genuine, wonderful, wise, protective and generous father Donald Trump is.
