Kim Jong-un due to arrive in Singapore on Sunday afternoon as city state ramps up security

Official programme may include meeting with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, sources say, ahead of landmark summit with Donald Trump

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is due to arrive in Singapore around late afternoon on Sunday and will have his own official programme on Monday that could include a meeting with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, sources told the South China Morning Post.

If confirmed, this would mean that both Kim and US President Donald Trump would be in Singapore for their historic summit early and this could help both in their preparations, another source said.

“As of tonight, we were told Mr Kim will be here on Sunday evening but the situation is fast-moving,” the source said.

A separate source said Kim would arrive on an Air Koryo flight but the Post has not been able to independently verify this information.

Logistically, a state visit by Kim and a meeting with the head of government, in this case Lee, would meet the protocol of host states paying for the costs of a visit, according to a South Korean official.

So this is how they resolved the question of who pays bills for Kim's stay. They arranged Kim's meeting with Singaporean leader which gives the official cover that Kim is visiting Singapore to meet its leader.

Look out your car window, Mr. Kim, as you leave Changi Airport and approach the city. See what modern Capitalism and an Asian (Confucian Principles) political republic can build starting from a 1960’s Malaysian dirt street cast off island. For comparison purposes a view of Seoul will be even more instructive. And there you’ll even be able to read all the signs. Then go home, contemplate what complete failures your grandfather, father, and you have been, put a pistol to your fat bloated head and pull the trigger. Your people will finally have a real reason to thank you.

“Look out your car window, Mr. Kim, as you leave Changi Airport and approach the city.”

With the technology today I am sure that he is VERY familiar with conditions all around the world-——he just doesn’t care because he lives very well himself.

He is too invested in his own cruel position to cede anything, though he knows intellectually the patent failure of his system and that of his two predecessors. Like all tyrants. He will have to be taken out like the trash like all such horrid scoundrels. I sincerely doubt if there is any redemption for this man who has solidified his position in history.

The longest distance any North Korean leader is thought to have traveled while in power...

Interesting the route is kept in Chinese airspace, and over land, nearly

the whole way.

Kim's anxiety will probably go up during the last leg of journey between Hainan and Singapore.

It looks like the first leg of journey traces a train route between Pyongyang and Beijing.
