Could this be used to prevent conversion to homosexuality in the first place? For example, sue a school because they are attempting to convert a straight kid to homo?
In fact, churches could announce loudly and proudly (of the Lord) on billboards: “WE ARE THE ONLY PLACE IT’S STILL LEGAL TO BECOME EX-GAY.”
A RINO just like his dad.
I guess “Live Free and Die” means “Live Free, except for those who wish to seek a certain kind of therapy. For you, you are not free.” signed, The Tyrant.
Since the Founding States thought it wise to give the Houses of Congress the constitutional authority to expel bad-apple members (1.5.2), the constitutionally undefined political parties need to amend their platforms to likewise give themselves the power to expel bad-apple members.
In fact, give ordinary party members the power to petition for removal of such members.
And when the states finally wake up and repeal the ill-conceived 17th Amendment, the repeal amendment needs to include a provision for prohibiting political party support for all elected federal offices.
There are only two genders: male and female.
The group that is messed up is the advocate of the LGBTQ orientation.
And live free or die also means that no government is going to control others behavior.
I sure hope they clamp down as hard on people who try to encourage minors to become gay.
It's always a one way street with libs, isn't it?
I reserve the right to make these choices for MY minor child.
If I want him to go to conversion therapy...then he goes. Period.
That impending civil war encore is long overdue.
In the modern spiritual climate it would be better to go to a spiritual deliverance ministry that understands the nature of this beast.
The Battle of Gaysburg.
Why yes, the beast is rather obviously showing its bent to control. It is a literal poopy head.
Today, the line was still drawn at artists.
“If we really want to be the Live Free or Die state, we must ensure that New Hampshire is a place where every person, regardless of their background, has an equal and full opportunity to pursue their dreams and to make a better life for themselves and their families.”
Just as long as one of their pursuits isn’t to seek out gay conversion therapy.
Why of course — this may eventually reach USSC and even get a favorable nod there, but someone is going to have to dare to be the “Masterpiece Bakery.”
Were it my druthers, I’d say keep it totally spiritual and make it an obvious religious ministry. Don’t call it therapy, don’t call it psychology.
This only bans it for minors.
“Live Free Or Die Free.”
Sununu misunderstands it by trying to ram the gay agenda down our throats.
People certainly have the right to live as they want. Government has no right to tell them how to live their life.
But the latter is exactly what the State Of New Hampshire is doing in telling gays they can’t change their sexual orientation and telling fake women they’re real women.
This is exactly what is wrong in trying to make the gay lifestyle normal through government diktat. And no,Sununu - we normals are not reprobates, bigots or people who want to impose our values upon others.
We want to government to leave us the hell alone so we can live by our values without interference from it. When you tell us we can’t, you sir, have crossed the line.
And don’t sit there and tell us it was necessary to force the gay agenda down our throats for our own good. We will never grow up and adjust our values to please you and the liberals you collaborate with.
We will live free or die free - without your unwanted help.
Why?
If you unsure about a decision, want to explore to your options, we now have the government saying it’s against the law.
This is sick. Let citizen’s make their own choices.
EXACTLY MY CHILD, not the governments, not yours, but MY CHILD.
Seems live free and die has been lost in NH.
Let parents make their decisions for their child.
I’m curious how the case even got made that it was a Bad Thing. Was there even an attempt to be scientific?
