President Donald Trump said Thursday that he would "certainly" invite North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un to the United States if next week's nuclear summit in Singapore goes well.
A visit to the U.S. — which Trump added could take place at the White House — would be remarkable after decades of minimal contact between the U.S. and the communist dictatorship. The talks next week will mark the first time a sitting American president and North Korean leader meet face to face, as the U.S. aims to push Pyongyang to abandon its nuclear and missile programs and ease concerns about the prospect of armed conflict.
At a joint news conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Thursday, the president said he wants to eventually establish normal relations with North Korea if the regime commits to denuclearization. Abe also stressed that Japan — which has long had tensions with North Korea — is ready to normalize its links to Pyongyang, as well.
"Normalizing relations is something that I would expect to do, I would hope to do," Trump said.
While Trump said he sees the "potential to make a deal" with North Korea to get the isolated regime to abandon its nuclear ambitions, he stressed that he is "totally prepared to walk away" from the summit. Trump already canceled the meeting once before it was rescheduled, following a key North Korean official's trip to Washington....

Oh gawd, lil Kim visiting the US; I’m sure that he’ll make a side trip to some sights which will involve a passel of Diplomatic Protective Corps shoving Americans out of the way so Kim and his ‘security team’ can get their views without any peons getting in their way.

Could you imagine Un playing golf at Mar-a-lago, followed by a trip to Disney, then a flyby of Mnt Rushmore and then Vegas and then the Hoover Damn followed by a flight over ending in a helicopter ride into the Grand Canyon and finally getting to drive a Nascar car and a F1 car on the salt flats?
Photo ops at all locations. Rebrand the pudge. Kim fatty the third has a real branding problem. That long pig looks delicious to his people. Open up and denuke and it all goes away. He will be hailed as an actual hero. Hell, that huge building in Pyongyang that isn’t finished could be branded the Un-Trump Peace Tower. Trump will finish it.
Maybe he will take Kim to McDonalds and then KFC, then Taco Bell, then Wendy’s, and then Village Inn...
Then he will say... Hey if you and leadership want to eat like this ever day, just end the war and let the people you lord over go free and we will set you and your leadership up in a mansion in China for the rest of your natural life with as much fast food as you can eat! ( Fatass Kim would probably last about 10 years before they had to cut a wall out of the mansion to remove his bloated corpse anyway)
Even if South Korea had to pay china 50 million bucks a year to keep Kim well kept in a Mansion compound in china near the Nork Border it would be worth it to free the oppressed people of North Korea and would go a very long way to undo the damage Hillary did to our reputation when the Obama Administration screwed over Qaddafi.
I would rather free a country and feed a fat ass dictator for the rest of his natural life in a neutral country then have a debacle like what happened in Libya where dumb-ass dem polices led to replacing a strong man who was actually starting to comply with international DE-weaponization with “even more wrong men” who were even more fanatical.

Not to mention that after Kim is relived of his country and the people of his country realize how screwed they have been by his family, we would have to set lit’ kim up on some out of the way pacific island to keep him safe ( for a while) before one of his previous subjects track him down and give him some strychnine laced Twinkies!
Asians love pork, beef and chicken, our three biggest exports meat-wise. Give us those rare earth minerals, platinum, silver and gold and every family in North Korea gets 3lbs of meat per day.

I loathe the Kim Family, but if we could set them and the current leadership up in a Chinese ghost city while the rest of the country is freed and re-united with the south, even if south korea has to pay china several million bucks a year to keep fat boy fed there in exile it will be worth at it.
Revenge can come later, the Koreans will not forget and someday Kim will eat the wrong Twinkies.
I think the solution to Kim is some sorta “napoleon retirement plan” negotiation.
Suffice to say but it will have them clamoring for more afterwards and we soon see a Costco store opening up soon in that most unlikeliest of places - North Korea???!!!
