It was a poor choice of words but seemed innocent enough from watching the clip. All Rudy really meant was that Kim really wanted the summit to happen and that Kim apologized for his earlier behavior.
Rudy doesn’t understand the press is not his friend (it used to be). If an Obama representative repeated the same thing during his term, it would not be a media event. It’s true, the press wants Trump to fail (even at the cost of American lives) and will twist every word, misstatement, or innocent deed to achieve their goal.
You could be right. I don’t know the particulars regarding that.

In a strange way I wonder if the way we see Rudy by saying this is the way the left sees President Trump all the time.
The way they act; it’s like everything Trump says offends them. I guess I get that in a way. Almost everything obama said and still says; offends me to some degree but for a very different reason I think.
What doesn’t make any sense is the left is mad about everything including better relations with NK, a booming economy, low unemployment rates, etc. etc. How can anyone be mad about these things that are good for everyone?
