Anti-Trump forces threaten lawmakers' lives in name of #Resistance

Political conversations have grown increasingly nasty in recent years, and it may be spawning something even worse: a growing number of people taking their vitriol to another level by threatening members of Congress.

In the past couple of months, the Justice Department announced action in four cases involving people who threatened serious harm, or even death, to federal lawmakers.

Most of those threats were made online, reflecting just one way people can convey their most vulgar feelings toward those on other sides of public policy disputes.

Most of the targets have been Republican lawmakers, who are in the crosshairs of anti-Trump forces who relish their stance as a self-styled #Resistance.

"There are things we might do that will make it harder for his case.

Just because we want to help, doesn’t mean our effort always will."

Caolan Robertson said that Tommy wants their efforts to go on as they were, including a rally in the U.K. early next month. His friends have expressed gratitude for support from people in allied countries.

"I think this thing is taking a life of it’s own. Oddly both the Left and the Right have a part in that."

The twitter account in the DFW area who I had an exchange with, told me he thought I might be over analyzing this. I don’t think I am. I know what the left does. Too many red flags.

One thing that can be done for Tommy (Stephen), is to get a message to the British Embassy here and ask that he be kept separated from possible radical Muslim attacks while in prison. In my opinion, it's a human rights issue.

Here's something related that might be of interest. It was something that I wanted to look into because of an accusation mentioned in a British publication.

I kept looking, even though I heard Tommy speak favorably in a video once of Jewish people and Israel.

There is a clearly established pattern from the real world examples of Cuba, Red China, and the USSR:
1) The “useful idiots” go first — after all, their use was to bring about the revolution. Once the revolution is successful, who needs a bunch of idiots walking around?
2) Those who are not orthodox enough for whichever particular flavor of leftist orthodoxy happens to be top dog after the no longer useful idiots are dealt with. This is the “elimination of potential competitors” stage of totalitarianism.
3) Each other. A high percentage of the victims of totalitarian government violence are in the ruling clique. This is the “elimination of direct rivals and their associates” stage of totalitarian governments.
4) Another nation. An outside threat is always needed to keep the ruling clique in power and give the guys with guns and training something to focus on besides how sh-—ty their own nation is getting.
