West Hollywood Mayor John Duran, who honored porn star Stormy Daniels last week for her role in leading the “resistance” to President Donald Trump, faced sexual harassment claims that led to the city paying out $500,000 on his behalf in 2016.
The Los Angeles Times reported at the time:
A former aide to West Hollywood City Councilman John Duran who sued the city and his boss alleging sexual harassment and wrongful punishment is set to receive $500,000 after settling with both parties earlier this month, according to the agreement obtained by The Times.
Under the terms of the settlement with former City Council deputy Ian Owens, Duran and the city admitted no wrongdoing.

Hypocrisy is one of the ‘resources’ that we have an absolute overabundance of.
They and their media have no credibility. They are on a power play where they may do as they please, and their political opponents and everyone else has to play by their arbitrary rules.
I wonder what Stormy Daniels had to do to get this honor from Hizzoner?

In a letter from his lawyer, West Hollywood City Council deputy Ian Owens alleges he was hired for the position by Councilmember John Duran after a sexual encounter, and that Duran has continued to make unwanted sexual advances.
Mayor John Duran must be a real perverted maggot to “honor” Spermy Daniels. Maybe he thinks he’ll get some?

West Hollywood is a separate incorporated city, and is well known in the LA area as a “gay” enclave. Estimates are that about 1/3 of the population of the city of West Hollywood is “LGBT” identifiers.
This mayor was accused of sex harrassment against another man.
Given their “demographics”, it may be virtually a job requirement, that their mayor and city council members be gay.
