Alberto looks to be a rain event more than a wind event as it moves into the Gulf of Mexico. However, Alberto is forecast to strengthen while moving Northward over the GOM.

The government of Cuba has issued a Tropical Storm Warning for the
Cuban province of Pinar del Rio.

A Tropical Storm Warning has been issued for the Dry Tortugas in the

Florida peninsula from Boca Grande to Anclote River. The Tropical
Storm Watch along the coast of the Florida panhandle has been
extended eastward to the Aucilla River.
The Storm Surge Watch has been extended eastward to Crystal River,
Florida.

Cang. It is going to miss us. This is looking to be one of those summers where the only rain we get will be a stray thunderstorm or a flaming out tropical depression.

The Tennessee Valley is going to get hammered
The Lake system has been way up since the late winter and early spring rain events. It could get dicey up here.

Subtropical Storm

Is that like a severe thunderstorm with lots of wind and rain?

I’m about 60 miles south of Tampa.

It’s been raining almost constantly for about 23 hours - now mainly very light rain.

I haven’t seen any flooding since the water table is low at what normally is the end of the dry season.

The Libs definitely needed to change the subject with all their investigations failing. Get ready for a lot of climate change hysteria.

I turned on the Weather Channel this afternoon, to see what is happening. I couldn’t deal with the guy Chris, his voice is very annoying. Much like “Jamie”, in the Progressive commercials.

We had a nice weather day here in UCLA (Upper Corner of Lower Alabama). Good lake time today.

I’ll be getting out of here early-ish on Monday to avoid the worst of the rain.
