David Hogg is trying to shake down Publix.
The public face of the gun control movement demanded $1 million Thursday from the Florida-based grocery chain in a tweet, just one day after calling for a die-in protest at its stores.
Publix is being targeted by Mr. Hogg for its support of Adam Putnam, a Republican gubernatorial candidate who is now the states agricultural commissioner. The Tampa Bay Times reported earlier this week that Publix had given $670,000 during the last three years to Putnam campaigns.
Mr. Hogg not only sought atonement money from the grocery chain in Thursdays tweet, he also demanded a pledge of ideological fealty to the gun-control movement.
I call on @Publix to donate double the money they gave to Putman [sic] to the Stoneman Douglas Victims fund, $1,000,000. And never support an A rated NRA politician again, he wrote.

David Hogg may be Jesse Jackson’s illegitimate son.
More like 18 to me. Past the “best by” date for sure.
Who the hell does this child think he is????????
.
He thinks he is Jesse Jackson.
:)
Yes.
In prison he should wear makeup to improve his looks to the MS-13 lifer in the top bunk.
Thus, we can test the “lipstick on a Hogg” adage. Sometimes known as “lipstick on a pig.”
Would he still look like a Hogg or like Miss America to the lifer? Let’s test that.
Ditto...I will buy more at Publix unless they capitulate to emaciated Hogg boy.
If we conservatives do not like something we just ignore it, or not do it. If the left does not like it they want others to not like it, or do it.
They think by shouting NAZI at us stops them from being NAZIS, and they think by using keywords like diversity, coexist, tolerance makes them that when clearly they are the most hateful , bigoted people one can ever meet.
And why are liberals always angry at something?
I just checked, and Publix has some online shopping. I’m going to look for something I need and order it from them.
Most of ours is done at Publix too, but we sometimes go to Aldi, well not this week. I think we are sending more money at Publix, not Aldi this week.
Nah the little turd is sitting at Starbucks most of the time with his nutcase fascist pals telling each other how smart they are.
Publix is a great store, very clean, all good quality merchandise, best deli, best desserts, but it is high end and pricier than Winn Dixie & Walmart. Unless you catch their BOGO sale items.
They should say ... in response to the shake-down attempts of Rabid Dog, I mean David Hogg, our stores will offer a 20% discount to any NRA member on Memorial Day, including anyone who wants to become a member on that day, in which case our cashiers will be ready to assist with the application.
Yes, what else can this be but extortion? Just like poverty pimps Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton—they have a closed door meeting and demand bribe money for their Swiss bank accounts and also in public to show support for the causes like NAACP and BLM. Then no boycott. Or else. You lose millions during the boycott so why not give in today?
These “people” are so loathsome they would make a snake refuse to slither on the same ground.
Obviously his father was the kind of FBI asshole thats bringing the FBI down.
Is Kamera Hogg being tutored by Je$$e Jack$$on and Al $$harpton?
himself characterized by consistently inflated feelings of personal ability,
privilege, or infallibility.
This kid must have enrolled in the Jesse Jackson school of how to make a living without working... It’s the age old shake down scam. Practice by the likes of Jackson, Al Gore, Rev. Sharpton, et al.
Find a cause to draw in the gullible and then suck them dry.
......”These people are so loathsome they would make a snake refuse to slither on the same ground”...
Perfect!
Publix should say -— Mr. Hogg, we salute your efforts but we never cave into extortion. No matter how worthy the cause.
