If we had a real attorney general, Stone mused, as he discussed the explosive revelation that the FBI hired CIA-linked Cambridge professor Stefan Halper to surveil several members of the Trump campaign with Breitbart News Deputy Political Editor Amanda House.
Stone then referred to Sessions as a comatose Keebler Elf and a man who must be removed and sent back Alabama.
Hes either compromised or doddering, Stone told House. I believe hes compromised. I believe he discussed with Carter Page removing sanctions on the Russians and that is what is being held over his head.

Hmmm. Gonna try to put the best spin on this as I can...
Like many here, I thought Sessions was a good pick for AG, until of course his recusal. I thought (and I could be corrected) Sessions had a pretty solid background from the Senate and prior. Like many more here, I find his performance as AG lacking, to say the least.
So whose side is he on?
If he is compromised in that he would be a witness to the unfolding of events and must stay recused, then he is not effective as an AG and should resign. However, if he resigned or was fired, under the current Congress (and investigations), Trump would have difficulty getting a replacement confirmed. If Sessions holds on till after the midterms, then, with a more Trump supportive Congress, Trump could replace him, after resignation or otherwise, with a more effective AG. Or maybe by then, these investigations will have borne other fruit that free up the AG to actually work on the corruption issues. This is all just theory.
Of course Sessions could be a swamp creature and I am all wet.
Roger Stone is a complete loon and a liar to boot— Trump’s labelled him a liar himself. He’s also the Bob Creamer of Libertarians- useful perhaps but also cloyingly sticky with no loyalties to speak of.
Pro-choice on human life and a supporter of the weasel Arlen Specter like Valerie Plame’s idiotic and equally slimy husband the tea-swilling former Amb. Joe Wilson.
Sessions has been completely absent. Has anyone seen him in public lately? Is he alive? Hospitalized?
The AG is Rod Rosenstein.
Any time we hear about an issue of substance, its Rosenstein doing the talking.
Where is Sessions?
Effin ELF!! He was part of the insurance policy from the getgo!! Embedded just in case trump won!!! Where is the freakin outage at the hill?! FIRE HIM!!!
Sessions, Rosenweasle, and everyone just below them a few tiers needs to be fired ASAP...even if the n00bs are ready or not!
Sessions is on it. Just because he is not a media hound doesnt mean he is clueless. Recusal was part of the show. Patience Patriots. You think Trump would tolerate a Keebler elf.....? Come on........use your head.
There’s one small problem. Noel Fransisco would have to be confirmed by McConnel, Grassley, and the esteemed Senate.
From Politico-Apr 25, 2017 · Rod Rosenstein was confirmed as the nation’s deputy attorney general with a 94-6 vote in the Senate.
Silent But Deadly.
His nickname is called The Silent Assassin. ???
And hillary is the smartest woman in the world.
Flake, Tillis, Sasse, Graham, to name a few.
You win the Internet. Spot on. An honorable man would step aside.
Stone is a master of puffery. He says something outrageous ( Im going to be indicted) and then denies ever saying it.
He is a libertine, pot smoking, swinger.
His claims of closeness to various campaigns have been out right lies
I trust nothing that comes from this troll
Well, Sessions is a little fart.
That would mean hes the Attorney General but apparently Rosenstein is the Acting Attorney General.
Hes that fart with the unsuspected lump in it.
Replaced by Ed O'Callahan?
Sessions recused himself from ONE of many functions of the U.S. Attorney General's role -- and the reason for the recusal is to protect the integrity of any investigation and prosecutions that may come out of it.
I'm sure there would have been hell to pay here on FR if Sessions indicted every senior member of Obama's administration -- and the charges were all dismissed in Federal court over an obvious conflict of interest.
