If youre looking for a summertime job, McDonalds is gearing up to hire thousands of employees across Pennsylvania for the season.
McDonalds says they expire to hire about 10,000 restaurant employees in Pennsylvania alone.

Did the kiosks quit?
Good as long as they are not importing 10,000 refugees like Starbucks.
I just checked the job requirements:
* Must have experience maintaining kiosks.
And yet they will all complain that they aren’t being paid fifteen bucks an hour.
Hire robots to flip burgers, fry fries, do dishes, and people can order at keyboard, no need for order takers.
I hope so. I hate those damn things.
I know my hands are clean... until I touch those germ infested things.

A job for Keith Ellison.......... beats dressing up in a blonde wig, singing about Trump, and acting like the assh*le that he is.
Yes. I'll bet they can even program the robots to be rude, indifferent, and to get the orders wrong even.
If there are 700 stores in PA, that’s 14 employees per store they are hiring.
In 2014, there were less than 600 stores in PA.
Oh, come on. You have an immune system. Use it!! :)
15 is about the average per in the fast food industry. In my neck of the woods, that’s pretty low, though most hires are part-time.
Yup, public skoolz are good business for McDonald's.
Yes they had one at a local Jack in the Box.
Now that I think about it, I didn’t see it when I was in there a couple of days ago.
OTOH, went to a McD near Branson a few days ago. There was a big LCD screen and the guy came from behind the counter to run the thing to take the order. BIG LCD screen. Seemed to be 2.5 to 3 feet tall hanging about 6-8 feet away from the counter towards the dining area.
For all the people gathering in the lobby, of course.
You know what? I’ve been to McD’s all over the city and only the young dudes use the kiosks.
Older people and non-whites tend to avoid it...even if the machines are right in front of their faces.

Are they replacing everybody?
“In 2014, there were less than 600 stores in PA.”
The correct way to phrase that is “there were fewer than 600 stores in PA?. If what you’re talking about is physically countable, then you should say “fewer than” and not “less than”...
Sorry, pet peeve of mine...
From what I have seen lately they need to give them a crash course in basic hygiene before allowing them anywhere near food.
Depending on the business, I prefer the kiosks for ordering. Most low-wage, first-job grunts couldn’t care less about customer service, and I can get more, and quicker, information just by reading.
You must like to get sick.
Me? I rarely get sick.
Psst. Kids are notorious for not washing their hands...
and they are all over those things.
They can’t help it. They have to play with EVERYTHING.
