I use roundup a lot...is there an alternative?
“I use roundup a lot...is there an alternative?”
there’s not a damn thing wrong with roundup ...
I don’t know...maybe other do. But like other dis-inventions, what usually replaces it is much more expensive, not as good, or both.
Glyphosate is the active ingredient in Roundup. Bayer makes a broad-spectrum product called Spectricide that does not contain glyphosate.
It works OK.

You don’t need an alternative. This is a lawsuit, not science.
That said, if you use a lot of it, here’s a tip. The active ingredient is glyphosate. You can buy 2.5 gallon jugs of Buccaneer, which is just glyphosate, at a farm supply outlet for about $45. I mix it at 2 oz/gallon of water.
2 1/2 gallons is 320 oz, so I get 160 gallons of spray out of that $45. Do a similar Roundup calculation and see how much you can save. It’s a lot, because Roundup is extremely expensive.
I use a 4-gallon backpack sprayer for keeping weeds down around the house, in the driveway, even down the town road edges for a bit, and anywhere else weeds get out of control, so I use a fair amount. That jug lasts me a couple of summers.
