Teenagers armed themselves with a megaphone and gathered outside the Governors Mansion in downtown Austin Sunday night to try and get attention for their cause. Ted Cruz, Greg Abbott, Texas legislators -- for as long as this is happening, we will stand to make sure that common-sense gun laws are enacted, yelled one of the speakers through the device... The students also staged a die-in, laying down on the ground for 23 minutes as if they were dead -- one minute for every school shooting since the start of the school year... These students also want to end the culture of apathy they say surrounds teenagers opinions in politics.

Please, kiddies, inform us of what exactly do you want the laws to say that they don't already. A piece of paper isn't going to stop one of your cohorts from getting their hands illegally on a gun that doesn't belong to them and go on killing sprees.
Why couldn’t the hippies have had a few of those in the 60’s? Could’ve thinned the herd of future lying leftists.
Next die-in stop: Illinois governors mansion. For all those Chicago shootings by black children.
Yeah, right...
Stupidity abounds in Austin.....................
Austin is the San Francisco of TX.
Its a liberal, Democrat stronghold in a Red State.
Oh my gosh....that’s so out dated you can instantly tell who is behind it! They raised their kids just like them!
Then the Soros staffers passed out soy lattes, vegan sandwiches, gas cards and paychecks.
How many of these teens use illegal drugs, get drunk, text and drive, drink and drive?
California was once a red state.
Wonder if they have a clue of how many teens die due to drugs a year OH wait it’s not the same./s
Get out the mace, batons, and bean bags. Maybe the horses too.
I got yer common-sense gun law right here:
"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
Moronials have such fresh and original ideas
Is the Governor’s mansion a gun free zone? With restricted access? Armed guards?
Schools are gun free zones. How are they protected? With a sign.
Austin,TX,a little blue dot in a red state.
I know, how about removing “murder” from the checklist of things to do when faced with life’s problems and set-backs.
The students also staged a die-in, laying down on the ground for 23 minutes as if they were dead — one minute for every school shooting since the start of the school year...
Oooh! That’s so... so... meaningful!
Maybe next year they can light candles. Or recite names. Or ring little bells. Maybe get some washed up actors in to make speeches.
Ah... the youth of today... making such a difference in the world!
There was free avocado toast.
