The “deep state” is in a deep state of desperation. With little time left before the Justice Department inspector general’s report becomes public, and with special counsel Robert Mueller having failed to bring down Donald Trump after a year of trying, they know a reckoning is coming.

I don't know but it does seem that Trump and Sessions agreed that RW should be appointed. The selection process and just who was involved has never been revealed AFAIK.
Leftist talk about there being ‘two Americas’ - and they’re right, but not in the way they mean it.
We have the elite - who can’t be touched by the laws they’re sworn to uphold.
Then there’s the rest of us - who would die in prison for a tiny fraction of what the swamp creatures have done.
