After Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich was murdered in 2016, conservative lobbyist Jack Burkman baffled some people when he paid for a private investigation to find the killer.
Then in March, Burkman himself became the victim of a mysterious shooting and was hit by an SUV in a parking garage when he was picking up documents from someone he thought was an FBI whistleblower.
Using fingerprints, detectives tracked down the suspect and it turned out to be Kevin Doherty, a man who had worked for Burkman on the Seth Rich case.

If Hillary Clinton had been elected President, there would be a lot more dead bodies.
I think I read several months back that the Rich murder was being investigated by the Dist. of Corruption Police Department. And that Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s brother was a D.C. district attorney who was assigned to the case. If so, no wonder we don’t hear of any progress being made on this.
If we had a competent Dept. of Justice, an independent federal investigation would be opened up to get to the bottom of whether federal crimes had been involved.
This case is such a scandal. The investigative media should be all over it. Instead, there is an uneasy silence.
I know!

You probably are correct.
Case gets even weirder.... in addition to hiring the ‘ex marine DOE employee’, the lobbyist hired the wife of a former[?] FBI analyst. The wife then passed Burkman’s emails from work to the press, and also to her former[?] FBI husband who passed them up to his ‘superiors’ [unclear whether he was active FBI at the time or had already left the agency.]
