Clapper admitted the FBI “may have had someone who was talking to them in the campaign,” referring to President Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. He explained away the possibility of an FBI informant spying on the campaign as the bureau was trying to find out “what the Russians were doing to try to substantiate themselves in the campaign or influence or leverage it.”
Obama’s Director of National Intelligence then went on to say, “So, if there was someone that was observing that sort of thing, that’s a good thing.”
He also stated he believes “it’s hugely dangerous if someone like that is exposed because the danger to that person” and the potential “reluctance of others to be informants for the FBI” could possibly devastate the FBI
No way this line of thought or excuses is going to play at my coffee shop.

The deep state skunks have made these kind of claims repeatedly over getting information unredacted. Every single time, that was not the case - they wanted their criminal activity to remain hidden. That is clearly the case here.

The spying on Flynn started in 2015, before Flynn was involved in any political campaign. That should worry every American, because if your current administration doesn't like your way of thinking, you could be spied on, entrapped and God knows what else whenever they feel like it. Isn't that the whole point of collecting every digital communication? The spying on Trump, specifically, began before he was likely to be the Republican nominee. Think about that a moment. Doesn't that suggest the other 15 or so Republican candidates were spied on, too, and that all kinds of traps were being laid?

Clapper’s type have already destroyed the FBI. And the fact that he thinks it was okay to plant someone to spy on Trump and his campaign, proves it. I hope Clapper is one of the first, to have his head in a noose. (There are so many who need to be first, they’ll have to draw straws.)
