Mueller told Trump's legal team he will not indict the president, Giuliani tells Fox News

President Trump's attorney, Rudy Giuliani, told Fox News Wednesday that special counsel Robert Mueller has told the president's legal team he will follow Justice Department guidance and not seek an indictment against Trump. Giuliani, himself a former federal prosecutor and mayor of New York City, also told Fox that Mueller's investigators have not responded to five information requests from the president's team. That has forced Trump's legal team to push off making a decision about whether the president will sit for an interview with the special counsel -- a decision they had hoped to reach by Thursday. The precedent that federal prosecutors cannot indict a sitting president is laid out in a 1999 Justice Department memo. Giuliani told Fox News that Mueller has no choice but to follow its guidance. "This case is essentially over," Giuliani said. "They're just in denial."

”So he can pin him down for his impeachment trial”

I realize that that is Mueller’s motivation for a sit-down, but my question was why would Trump even contemplate doing so when Mueller himself has now apparently said that there is no indictment on the table? (And I realize Mueller actually has no authority to indict the President, just wondering why Trump’s team doesn’t come right out and say that this is now a moot discussion).

Is this the payoff of some insisting that Mueller is really a White Hat? I have always thought he was a corrupt and compromised dirty cop with a nasty habit of framing his targets and hiding exculpatory evidence.

"His goal isn’t to indict; it’s to dig up dirt to be used to support impeachment."

DING-DING-DING-DING!!! We have a winner! He wants to come up with some "bombshell" right before the mid-terms that will make Trump radioactive, throw the elections to the Dems, and result in a coup-through-impeachment.

My reaction? TRY IT! It will be the last elections the Dems will ever win, and Muller and others will be hung for treason.

That’s mighty nice of him since a sitting president can’t be indicted.

That's what I thought. Of course, the Lame Stream will spin this as a "victory" for that dastardly Trump and a "cave" for Mueller. And the LIVs in much of the country will lap it up faster than a thirsty dog given a bowl of water!

Good. Winning fires people up. Losing demoralizes them.

So its two things

1. “Make work” for high power left wing lawyers,

2. Dig up dirt for possible impeachment.

After November when the GOP keeps both Houses and impeachment is not longer a possibility it will end.

So will Mueller pack up and go home?

He would if he had any integrity. But he’s a self serving Rat. Doing the bidding of the Clintons, Comey, the DOJ, the FBI, and the Deep State swamp rats.

The evidence is against the Democrats & the deep state. The IG report has been completed & the draft is being submitted for review. I suspect Mueller knows the hammer is coming down.

I think the game plan is for Mueller & friends to just keep the balls in the air until closer to the election. Indict a few people on the edges (even those are falling apart now), and then release a report that will essentially say “we investigated every nook and cranny and while it really looks like President Trump was up to no good, we just can’t connect all the dots and prove it.

Democrats and liberals will spin this as Trump the crafty criminal mastermind. We’re so close but he covered his tracks so well!

Jerks.

Suppose after such a stupid thing as an interview, Mueller says he now sees testimony conflict and only an indictment and trial will sort it out? Suppose he tries to slime and cause Impeachment by calling the President an Un-Indicted Co-Conspirator like Hillary was found to be in Bills case?

The United States Justice Department above and beyond political parties and including its arms, the FBI and others is so overwhelmingly corrupted and vile in the majority of its leadership as to be a viscous force in and of itself.

The US Justice Department has become a criminal conspiracy.

Goal wasn’t indictment. Rather, impeachment.

I’ll believe its over when Mueller is dead.

Even if he “suspends” his investigation, he will then go the Comey and Brennan route: making lucrative book deals and interviews with leftist media where he will slander, impugn and threaten the President at will.
