President Trump's attorney, Rudy Giuliani, told Fox News Wednesday that special counsel Robert Mueller has told the president's legal team he will follow Justice Department guidance and not seek an indictment against Trump. Giuliani, himself a former federal prosecutor and mayor of New York City, also told Fox that Mueller's investigators have not responded to five information requests from the president's team. That has forced Trump's legal team to push off making a decision about whether the president will sit for an interview with the special counsel -- a decision they had hoped to reach by Thursday. The precedent that federal prosecutors cannot indict a sitting president is laid out in a 1999 Justice Department memo. Giuliani told Fox News that Mueller has no choice but to follow its guidance. "This case is essentially over," Giuliani said. "They're just in denial."

Well, Isn’t that nice of him.
That’s mighty nice of him since a sitting president can’t be indicted.
Is Mueller going to indict anymore non-existent Russian companies?
If Mueller has said that he won’t indict Trump, then what possible reason would there be for Trump to agree to an interview with him?
It just sounds like wordplay to me. I will believe it’s over when Herr Mueller says “we are concluding the investigation phase.”
Don’t trust, but verify.
His goal isn’t to indict; it’s to dig up dirt to be used to support impeachment.
Can’t indict is a long ways from nothing to indict for. Mueller can throw all kinds of BS into that gap. Giuliani is leaving Trump at risk here of Mueller’s parting shot.
Indictment wasn’t the goal. Impeachment is.
Mueller wants to get enough damaging info. on Trump and pass it on to, what he hopes, is a House run by the Dims, who will vote for impeachment.
Of course, the Senate is going to remain under the control of the GOP so no chance Trump will be convicted.
Congress should abolish the entire Justice Department, then re-authorize it minus characters like Rosenstein and Mueller.
Based on Mulehead’s history of lies and deceit, I dont trust him. That was the reason why that team was formed in the first place: to get Trump. Then quit now you clowns.
The President likes to tell the story of the snake. Does Mueller think he’s going to get away with such a lie?
When will Mueller be indicted?
That’s what I want to know.
So he can pin him down for his impeachment trial
I wouldn’t trust him if he put it and writing and had it witnessed by the Pope and the entire Mormon Quorum of the Twelve.

There should thus be no authority to compel any President to testify before the Grand Jury.
But Mueller is a liar, and probably thinks Giuliani is a fool.
