Immigration officials published data Friday showing a program that gives spouses of H-1B visa holders permission to work in the United States is largely used by Indian women.
The release comes just a few weeks before the Department of Homeland Security is expected to propose a rule that would unwind the program, known as the Employment Authorization for Certain H-4 Dependent Spouses.

From 2015 to 2017, according to the data, 90,946 spouses — 84,935 women and 6,011 men — requested the work authorization.

I was talking to a computer student who organized a tech job fair.
He said none of the big companies sent representatives.
As with most businesses the highest cost is labor and this was the period of the tech boom.
In the early days of computer tech, companies had to pay top money for the few best people. Tech paid premium wages.
Once it was up and running they looked for ways to cut labor costs and they found it with Indians and other foreigners.
When these tech companies say the can't find qualified American workers they're lying.
They want to pay 3rd world wages and American students with college debt are too expensive.
I got 3 calls this week, all from scammers with INDIAN ACCENTS.
I asked 1 of them if PHONE SCAMMER was the number 1 industry in india, he hung up.
I asked another one and he said he wasn’t in india, but was in florida, I said why did the caller id say NY?
He hung up.
Are we bringing the h1b visa people here to do phone scams?
I know Disney uses them to replace high dollar AMERICAN engineers, but are americans to lazy to do a phone scam?

Thanks to Clinton, Bush, and Obama, over 5 million Americans were displaced by H-1Bs foreign workers.
When exactly have Indian newspapers cried racism? They say “not good” and they promote their viewpoint but they have never “cried racism”
secondly, the article doesn't have the Indians complaining about racism
