Conservative syndicated columnist George Will wrote this week that Vice President Mike Pence has “become America’s most repulsive public figure.” Why does Will think Pence deserves this absurd slur? Apparently, the columnist has found the vice president guilty of the heinous crime of being a decent man.

I missed what I presume was the orignal posting of the George Will column, where “we here at FR wrote” blistering comments.
My comment - someone needs to get George Will back on his meds, or off his illicit drugs, or both. I’m leaning towards both. Pence is just a class act, period.
Kudos to Bill Bennett for calling out Will on his nonsense.

The only thing left for conservatives to do is to say goodbye to George Will and to pray that his sick heart and soul will be healed.

I REALLY miss William Bennett’s radio show....Hugh Hewitt is a BORE..a TOTAL BORE who says the same thing 15 times in 3 hours!! And what he says is NEVER interesting....or conservative....he is a GAS BAG! And BORING as hell!

Great column! The things that Will said about Pence were so completely unhinged that they actually ended up being funny.
For the life of me, I couldn’t imagine what he’d found so offensive about Pence. But when I read this column, I saw that he’d found something wildly offensive in the well-behaved, barely-breathing George H. Bush, too.
