If you are a contractor and you are building something for a client who is providing all of the design and engineering. You build it as they designed it and it doesn’t work it is theirs.
Perhaps they should look at the contractors that worked on the ship and see if any special people or groups got preferential treatment obtaining the contracts.

Brand new technology has bugs. The science is sound. I have every faith in the engineers to make these systems work flawlessly. It is just a matter of fixing the problems. It is not as if they can’t work. They will.
