David Brooks! You can now expect your invitations to trendy Manhattan and Georgetown parties to not so mysteriously dry up. Your crime? Despite being one of the most prominent Never Trumpers out there, you actually (GASP!) dared to praise President Donald Trump's foreign policy. Such a Thought Crime must be punished with a public shunning.
Yes, despite his previous record as an Antifa Ninja Play Warrior of The Resistance which began on the heels of the 2016 election, Brooks has come around to grudging support for Trump's foreign policy in his May 10 New York Times column, Donald Trump’s Lizard Wisdom [emphasis mine]:

Well, first he lists all of Trump’s shady associations and his dealings with mobsters in NYC and AC in construction.
Then, as we in NYC already knew, he goes on to say that THOSE dealings were the reason he is such a great foreign policy president.
He lives in the REAL world where Kim and China’s leaders and Putin are just different versions of the Gambino Crime Family.
They smell weakness and EAT IT UP like they did with obummer.
You hit them fast and hard and they suddenly become willing to have a sit down.
Because in the end, most want to “keep the peace” instead of dying or going broke.
Dems and their hangers on will never outright praise this president. The best they can do is the left handed “compliments” about being the advantage of being a thug in dealing with thugs like house Republican eunuch at the Times Brooks. He has so been compromised by his paymaster that he preaches the Iran deal was a good deal. I have no respect for this 2 bit ‘ho.

Years ago I knew a developer of regional shopping malls. He couldn’t have succeeded without dealing with the union thugs .. but was surprised when he first went overseas with how “clever” they were. Learning to deal with a totally different, non-American, mindset is a skill set that’s necessary in the real world.

obummer had NO street smarts.
Plus he hated the country.
I’m pretty sure BHO succumbed easily to being propagandized when he was in college, and never got out of that mindset. And it’s so much easier to be a victim!!
