During a discussion with host Charles Payne on Fox Business Network, retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney was asked to opine on the criticism faced by Gina Haspel, who was grilled on Wednesday by the Senate Intelligence Committee in her pursuit of confirmation for the top job at the CIA. Having played a role in the CIAs interrogation/torture program during the 2000s, Haspel waffled a bit as Democratic senators pushed her on the morality of the methods, which are no longer in force.
McInerney was riding with Trump on this one: Its very simple to me, Charles. If we have some terrorists and the possibility of five nuclear weapons going off in U.S. cities, I want to use any method that will determine where they are, when its going to happen and how we can nullify them, he said. Im not interested in values. Im interested in saving a million American lives. It is very simple. And that kabuki that went on yesterday on the Senate intel committee by the Democratic members is the [inaudible] set of questions Ive ever heard. And it ought to ensure all our viewers never elect a Democrat again.
Payne noted that McCain himself, a Republican, had declined to endorse Haspel and asked McInerney how lawmakers should evaluate the nominee. Well, she cant use it anymore because weve determined the Congress that its not legal. The fact is, is John McCain it worked on John. Thats why they call him Songbird John, said McInerney, who was appearing on the network as a guest, though he formerly served as a Fox News contributor.

WaPo discredits the ‘songbird’ scenario with this:
“As PolitiFact has noted, theres no evidence for the claim that McCain betrayed his country in captivity.”
Which was a 2008 article.
Since then new evidence has been revealed.
By: ADI News Services August 9, 2016
“In 2008, Politifact determined that the Vietnam veterans who claimed that Sen. McCain was a traitor and a Hanoi Hilton songbird were Pants on Fire wrong. The press gave McCain a pass and attempted to destroy his critics.
“Now, a recording of McCain has been uncovered that appears to support those claims.”
“Still, the National Archives does show an entry on its website that appears to support Wiles and Johnsons claims. The ADI is in the process of securing a copy of the recording from the National Archives.”

Um, that statement requires a response considering it is referring to (among a number of other things) a member of the criminal Keating Five who not only walked free, but was allowed to remain as a scumbag, backstabbing member of the Senate for another 30 years while consistently and actively working against the interests of his constituents and his country.
Sorry, but a terminal disease does not absolve this man of his evil deeds. If it did we would all die saints.
Why does Payne have a problem with the truth? McCain collaborated with the enemy. He admitted it himself. Its about time people quit lying about him and tell the truth. He was a terrible Navy Officer and a equally terrible senator. He hated veterans and treated them with contempt. Another fact.
A war hero doesnt finished 894th out of 899 and still get stationed at a Navy champagne unit and promoted ahead of all but two of his 898 other classmates.
A war hero doesnt crash three U.S. Navy jets out of sheer incompetence and ineptitude, including two during non-combat training sessions.
A war hero doesnt get written up on drunk-and-disorderly, fraternization, disobeying orders, and insubordination charges more than two dozen times in less than three years.
A war hero doesnt get promoted to squadron commander of the air field named after his own grandfather immediately after crashing his third airplane.
A war hero doesnt have all the military records that cover his time in Vietnam and all disciplinary actions against him censored and sealed as a matter of national security.
A war hero doesnt get 28 medals awarded all after-the-fact for bravery for no other reason than being shot down and captured and then go on a celebrity public relations tour because hes the son of two acclaimed Navy admirals. A war hero doesnt repeatedly cheat on the wife whos back in the states waiting for him, and then cheat on her more when he returns to the states, and then divorce and abandon her.
A war hero doesnt systematically vote against every single pay and benefit increase for military and veterans throughout his entire political career, all the while claiming to be the soldiers Congressman, and then take credit for the passage of a G.I. benefits bill he that voted AGAINST.
A war hero McCain III lost jet number one in 1958 when he plunged into Corpus Christi Bay while practicing landings. He was knocked unconscious by the impact coming to as the plane settled to the bottom.
McCains second crash occurred while he was deployed in the Mediterranean. Flying too low over the Iberian Peninsula, Timberg wrote, he took out some power lines [reminiscent of the 1998 incident in which a Marine Corps jet sliced through the cables of a gondola at an Italian ski resort, killing 20] which led to a spate of newspaper stories in which he was predictably identified as the son of an admiral. McCains third crash three occurred when he was returning from flying a Navy trainer solo to Philadelphia for an Army-Navy football game. Timberg reported that McCain radioed, Ive got a flameout and went through standard relight procedures three times before ejecting at one thousand feet. McCain landed on a deserted beach moments before the plane slammed into a clump of trees. McCains fifth loss happened during his 23rd mission over North Vietnam on Oct. 26, 1967, when McCains A-4 Skyhawk was shot down by a surface-to-air missile. McCain ejected from the plane breaking both arms and a leg in the process and subsequently parachuted into Truc Bach Lake near Hanoi. For 23 combat missions (an estimated 20 hours over enemy territory), the U.S. Navy awarded McCain a Silver Star, a Legion of Merit for Valor, a Distinguished Flying Cross, three Bronze Stars, two Commendation medals plus two Purple Hearts and a dozen service medals. McCain had roughly 20 hours in combat, explains Bill Bell, a veteran of Vietnam and former chief of the U.S. Office for POW/MIA Affairs the first official U.S. representative in Vietnam since the 1973 fall of Saigon. Since McCain got 28 medals, Bell continues, that equals out to about a medal-and-a-half for each hour he spent in combat. There were infantry guys grunts on the ground who had more than 7,000 hours in combat and I can tell you that there were times and situations where Im sure a prison cell would have looked pretty good to them by comparison. The question really is how many guys got that number of medals for not being shot down. For years, McCain has been an unchecked master at manipulating an overly friendly and biased news media. The former POW turned Congressman, turned U.S. Senator, has managed to gloss over his failures as a pilot by exaggerating his military service and lying about his feats of heroism. McCain has sprouted a halo and wings to become Americas POW-hero presidential candidate. This article was written by an active, unnamed Marine. It was published by Gale Toensing founder of the Corner Report.com and she sent it to me. It is a true account of McCains real war record and evidence of his lack of fitness for the office of President.

To the Vietnamese people and the government of the DRVN: From John Sidney McCain, 624787, Lieutenant Commander, U.S. Navy, born 29 August, 1936, Panama, home state Oregon. Shot down 26 October, 1967, A-4E aircraft. I, as a U.S. airman, am guilty of crimes against the Vietnamese country and people. I bombed their cities, towns and villages and caused many injuries, even deaths, for the people of Vietnam. I was captured in the capital city of Hanoi, while attacking it. After I was captured, I was taken to the hospital in Hanoi, where I received very good medical treatment. I was given an operation on my leg, which allowed me to walk again, and a cast on my right arm, which was badly broken in three places. The doctors were very good and they knew a great deal about the practice of medicine. I remained in the hospital for some time and regained much of my health and strength. Since I arrived in the camp of detention, I received humane and lenient treatment. I received this kind treatment and food even though I came here as an aggressor and the people who I injured have much difficulty in their living standards. I wish to express my deep gratitude for my kind treatment and I will never forget this kindness extended to me.
Songbird John McCain was one of the few Republicans that voted for John Brennan.

Payne screwed up by apologizing!
Who you gonna believe? A retired four-star or a songbird?
Bingo!
McCain’s arm weren’t broken by torture. Many fellow naval officers suffered far worse punishment by the VC and didn’t suffer McCain’s arm injuries. It is strongly suspected McCain broke his arms when he ditched his plane after being shot down. And then parlayed his preferential treatment at Hanoi Hilton into hero status and a career, all-talk, do-nothing, skirt-the-law bureaucrat.
Few will shed tears when your song ends, Songbird.
Save your piss. McCain isn’t worth the whizz
Take a dirt nap Juan, please ...you traitor ...
“Songbird” is a parrot who parrots lefty talking lines and thinks like one.
