Explosions were reported south of Damascus on Tuesday, shortly after the Israeli army announced it believes Iran is planning to carry out an imminent strike from Syria.

A pro-Assad commander said Israeli fighter jets struck a Syria army position south of Damascus, adding that there were no casualties. Syrian state media reported that Syrian air defenses fired at two Israeli missiles, destroying both in the Kiswah area.

The one thing I don’t get is that intelligence info from Netanyahu’s presentation, some say it is old information, there was another article describing how they got the info out of Iran. I don’t know what to think. Someone could make a killing with a satellite news station just on foreign policy and different wars. There are a few websites that are close but one where guests would discuss things the way they do on normal news shows like on Fox.

Syria’s done plenty to Israel, how does Hamas and Hezbollah get their weapons? They get them from Iran, they come through Syria. I’m sure, Syria actually has a long list of infractions going back to Hafez Assad. Whether deserved or not, they have been a designated state sponsor of terrorism by the US since 1978.

“Syria has done nothing to Israel-absolutely nothing.”

What color is the sky on your planet?

Syria has been in a constant state of declared war against Israel since 1948.

It has shelled Israeli civilians and military targets from the Golan Heights (well, until Israel got tired of that crap, and took them away).

It has sheltered, trained, financed and armed terrorists who attacked Israeli targets, including civilians.

It was building a nuclear reactor (with NK help) to build nukes - for use against Israel (let’s be serious, who else would Syria attack, Upper Volta?)...until the Israelis decided that they didn’t like that idea any more than the idea of Saddam getting nukes).

It has facilitated (obviously for a series of fees) the arming of Hezbollah in Lebanon - which organization has launched countless attacks against Israel over the years, and which now has some 140,000 rockets of varying types pointed at targets in Israel.

Other than that, Syria has been largely harmless to Israel. Yeah, /sarc for anyone that has no sense of humor.

Raiderboy, just because Syria didn’t do anything specific to Israel in the last 2 weeks or 2 months, doesn’t mean that Syria has done nothing to Israel. Open your eyes and your mind a bit, and let in some light.

As you may remember President Trump visited Saudi Arabia last year and did the sword dance with its leaders.

Mike Pompeo traveled to Israel and Saudi Arabia the other weekend immediately after his confirmation as Secretary of State.

Who is “we” and who is “they”. (not a question) We had Obama inc. running this country and Saudi Arabia had an anti-civilization “deep state” (the ones that gave us 911).

We got rid of O and they got rid of allweed (sic). So for now we’re allies.

Amen! You are so right.

They take the Iran news today and immediately go on the offensive on behalf of the terrorist insurgents in Syria, knowing world media and US government will provide cover for their naked aggression. Are we MAGA or MIGA?

There is a big difference between a country and its leaders. The US is not the only country with a “Deep State”. Once a country has been freed from Deep State control, the entire equation shifts.

Just the fact that 0vomit is out there slamming Trump’s actions tells me all I need to know about who the good guys are. IMO, the entire mideast debacle has been instigated by globalists/deep staters worldwide. They are desperate. This is how they’ve shown themselves.

I comment our President from pulling out of the Iranian joke. I wish we could get our 150 billion back and BUILD THE WALL.

Oh, I think that 150 billion is going to come back. With interest.

(And I think it was FAR MORE than 150 billion. That’s just the amount that was “leaked” about ONE payment.)

Im curious? I don’t see a dime coming back from the 95 million people in Iran. EVER. In fact, if we don’t reign in rogue Israel , we are going to pay billions more and we are dead broke now. But Im glad we are out. We need to get all the way out.

You’re siding with the mad mullahs who support terror abroad, and tyranny in Iran. You’re siding with putin and his gangster state oligarchs. Israel’s pre-emptive strikes have taken away some of Iran’s capabilities. Would you allow Iran to point missiles at the USA? Oh, never mind. I know the answer.

Somehow I believe Mossad knows far more about this than you. Israel would not make a pre-emptive strike without a good reason.
