The Swamp is beginning to drain itself now!
So from this move we can infer that Brookings is The Swamp
Oh yes, you can count on that. Brookings is Left, Left, Ledt. No ethics in the Western sense of the word.
Of course not!! The swamp never pay the price...NEVER!!

KEY WORD - Visiting Fellow
His next permanent assignment may be with the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
i think Lawfare [or a member/acquaintance] has had illegal access to the NSA database and used such data to shape narratives.
i think they’ll go down for it too.
Tells you a lot about the Brookings Institute doesn’t it???
It always has been part of the swamp.
Is the State Department Giving Money to President Trump? Lets Find Out

A few months ago, I began working with Scott Anderson and Sabrina McCubbin on an interesting project: trying to discern whether the State Department was, quite literally, paying President Trump money. Today, having gotten no response from the department on the subject, I filed a lawsuit on the subject
Your post doesn’t make sense...Is the “I” you mention - you? Who is Benjamin Wittes? State Department money to President Trump for WHAT? WHO filed a lawsuit and for what?
Could you possibly give some details that would make some sense?
Sound like the left is polishing his reputation before the hammer falls.
Benjamin Wittes of Lawfare (and a raging progressive) wrote the article in question.
“”Benjamin Wittes of Lawfare (and a raging progressive) wrote the article in question””
What does the linked article have to do with your post - State Department giving money to the president and I guess, the writer filing a lawsuit???? It still doesn’t make sense.
I tried in my post to inform you just what kind of person James Baker is, Benjamin Wittes is, and what Lawfare represents. Baker after leaving the FBI gravitated to two left wing operations, Brookings and Lawfare. The Lawfare legal suit challenging the State Department is not generally known.
I realize my effort failed miserably.
