Take care of yourself, you have quite a challenge there, lady.
I HATE fire season too.
Just found out that my niece, her brand new baby and 2 other kids had to evacuate from Prescott Valley, her hubby works for the Prescott fire dept so, of course, he was working. Thanks to the wild-land firefighters and the good Lord, there home was spared. I really panicked when I saw on TV footage of a property burning that is only two properties over from theirs. But she put out an alert to family and friends that their home survived. Way too close.
This fire started from a car accident. The horrific winds spread it. That’s all it takes.
The chain hitting pavement made sparks that blew into very dry weeds along highway.
Dolly just posted on FB she is home. Praise God
Good news for Dolly let’s pray!
Thanks!
Yes. She’s home and taking it easy for a while.
Good morning, ma.
Thank you.
For lack of a better word, that sounds like a very unusual event.
Good to hear. Thank you.
So, so, glad you are back home and feeling better.
Walking is such a good spirit lifter and healthy in so many ways.
Wish you could get a handle on that nasty shingles, know you have tried so much.
Just got back from a short morning walk, the winds are blowing a gale, literally pushed us down the street and then we fought like the dickens to make headway in other direction. Usually pine forest blocks most of the wind but this is just too fierce.
Have a GREAT day!
Not so unusual, fire a couple of miles from our home was started by a car that was having automotive trouble, pulled over on shoulder of road, under-carriage hot, started grass on fire.
Fortunately they called 911, cell phones are wonderful, and firefighters got there immediately and kept fire to 16 acres. This was before the winds too, which really helped, that same scenario wouldn’t have been as good if it had happened yesterday or today.
Praying that wind ceases and people don’t do anything crazy, somethings are accidents tho.
We have planes in the air looking for unrestricted campfires, big fine. $1000 for smoking outside building or car, that’s how dry it is right now.
Guess just because I never heard of it doesn’t make it unusual. After hearing first hand from my grandkids in SoCal about the fires there, I pray Arizona stays safe. I guess the monsoon rains don’t come for a few more months, do you get them in your area?
Oh yes, we get the monsoons, June is our hottest month until the rains hit around the 1st of July.
We will be on pins and needles until the rains come.
SoCal, hopefully, got enough rain that things will be better for them.
Off to grocery shop and pester youngest at Slaveway.
This "Good Girl" perfume ad keeps popping up today as a gift for Mother's Day. Yeah, that's the ticket. Mom's a hooker.
Hahahaha! Good one.
