It’s pretty much what the community brings in and cooks. (In a big ol pot)
It may not be the Chez Grandiose but I’m cool with it. :)

#34: TOMMY JAMES & THE SHONDELLS: MONY MONY Mo Levy, the founder of Roulette Records, was the real life source of the character Heschie on The Sopranos. It was a mob owned company, and as long as Tommy James didnt insist on his share of the money, Mo didnt care what Tommy recorded.
This was a B side that took off when the A side didnt. It would become one of the bands biggest successes.

Welcome to the Canteen, robroys woman.
I can sure imagine what it might be like to get around town.
Glad you were able to work from home. Are you going to any of the festivities?

I read that $17.5 million was bet on the Kentucky Oaks today (Friday) which established an all-time high for the race. Attendance exceeded 113,000.

ROCKUMENTARY: 50 YEARS AGO TODAY
#32: SIMON & GARFUNKEL: MRS. ROBINSON The first side of the Bookends album was a concept side meant to be played all in one sitting. Thanks to the Moody Blues, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, concept albums were hot in 1968. This is from the second side.
The Graduate was a sleeper, a film that racked up ticket sales and money while other films got the headlines. It ended up being one of the greatest financial successes in film history, made Dustin Hoffman a star and further burnished the reputation of director Mike Nichols. Some of the techniques Nichols pioneered in the film became standard procedure in movies and TV over the years.
The New Yorker wrote a long article about this movie explaining why it resonated with Baby Boomers. There was one classic bit of dialog where Bens father asks, What did I send you to college for? and Ben answers, Got me, Dad. That line produced applause from Boomer audiences. Another conclusion was that it gave a Boomer (Ben) the chance to punch out a member of the GI Generation, specifically Elaines father.
The scene in the church, filmed in the L.A. suburb of La Verne, where Ben arrives too late to stop the wedding but busts it up anyway, is a landmark in American cinema. Its too late! Elaines mother screams at her. Not for me it isnt! Elaine screams right back.
The last scene on the bus was directed by Mike Nichols with the instruction, Dont think about anything. Make your minds blank.

Yes, I did have alligator before. Not bad, but not something on my fav list either. I like to try new but not too exotic cuisine. Absolutely Nothing looking back at me or still kicking. Or anything that will turn my stomach before it hits it.
