President Trump slammed FBI Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team before a massive audience in Texas on Friday, hours after a federal judge rebuked the special counsel's office at a hearing for ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort.
“It’s what I’ve been saying for a long time, it’s a witch hunt,” Trump told the National Rifle Association’s annual convention in Dallas, Texas.
U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III told Mueller's team earlier Friday that they “don’t really care” about Manafort -- who is seeking the dismissal of an 18-count indictment on tax and bank fraud-related charges -- and accused them of being more interested in information leading to a possible impeachment of Trump.
The judge also demanded to see an unredacted version of the “scope memo,” a document outlining the scope of the Russia probe
Trump, in his speech to the NRA, read from news reports on Ellis’ remarks approvingly, particularly quotes from the judge that asked what the charges had to do with the campaign -- considering they indicted Manafort on alleged crimes dating back as far back as 2005.
"It's really a disgrace," Trump said, while calling the judge "really something very special."

At the very least Congress needs to pass a resolution requesting Trump to shut it down and reiterating the no collusion finding of the House Judiciary committee.

It is not just the leftists who want Trump removed ASAP.
It is also the GOPe and Chamber of Commerce who hate Trump for trying to fix the yearly Trillion dollar trade deficits. The elites have profited greatly by importing cheap labor and exporting manufacturing to cheaper labor countries. The elites want “free” trade without any regard to “fair” trade. None of the past 5 presidents did anything to stop hemorrhaging on trade deficits.
What the leftists and the GOPe are most worried about is if Trump succeeds, their brand is permanently damaged.
I simply cannot understand why Trump does not simply RELEASE the unredacted Rosenstein “scope” memo on Mueller to the judge, media and public. He alone has the unfettered power to do so, and it would devastate the coup plotters, and likely cause Rosenstein to resign.

Because - again - it's nt the President's job to release these documents. It's Sessions' job, and barring that (due to Jeff's cowardly recusal), it's Rosenstein's job to turn them over.
Of course, Sessions and Rosenstein aren't going to lift a finger to help or protect the President, so yes, he's being forced to intervene in some way to save his presidency.
The question is what he should do, and how he should do it.
If I were him, I would order Rosenstein to turn over the unredacted 'scope' document to the judge. By all rights, Jeff Sessions should have already done this himself, but he's a useless potted plant, hiding in the corner.
Good summary of the situation Trump finds himself in. I think Trump, in the end, will be forced to turn over the documents himself. Sessions should rot in you know where for putting the president in this position. It’s unconscionable.
