I think the Democrats have something on Sessions that is paralyzing him. He needs to be replaced immediately.

Trump’s biggest regret is appointing Sessions.

If that is so, then why is Jeff still in office?Trump has fired over 50 staffers and aids since Inauguration Day. Yet Sessions is still employed.

Sessions was the worst presidential appointment in the history of the republic.

Just re-watch Sessions recusal video, the man was on the verge of tears, he was trembling. I thought he was going to crap his pants. Whatever they have on him, its pretty damn bad.

"My Biggest Regret Is Not Taking Attorney General Job"

On the other hand, corrupt Congress’s indifference to FBI corruption needed to be exposed in this midterm election year.

Sessions is too busy fighting reefer madness while the entire deep state is attempting to oust our President.

I’m fond of Mr. Mayor but I think he would have been a bad choice as AG.

As I said on here the day of the inauguration, or the day of the election, I don’t remember which, Trump needed a team of experienced LE people ready to go the minute he lifted his hand off the Bible, to replace the entire leadership structure at the DOJ and the FBI.

That new team needed to be from outside DC, not people in the past closely connected to the DOJ. Take top state prosecutors from red states and put them at the top level of the DOJ. And confirming those people had to be Job One. Give Congress NOTHING they want until the Senate confirms Trump’s DOJ picks. The absolute first thing to do after the inauguration.

You can’t appoint people emotionally attached to the DOJ as it was back under Reagan or the Bushes if you want them to dispassionately clean out and prosecute esteemed uniparty deep state operatives.

And the new FBI head should have been a career special agent not involved in the instances of FBI abuse, and not former prosecutors/defense counsel like Mueller, Comey or Wray.

The basis of deep state power lies in the Justice Department. Sadly, Trump did not understand that when he came into office.

Trump's biggest regret is appointing Sessions.

...plus not sanitizing the Executive Branch of ALL Obama holdovers, hire only vetted, clean resume loyalists and regret letting Clinton off the hook ("She has been through enough") Clinton owns the entire scandal.

Rooty Ghouliani is a gun-grabbing POS. The conservative grassroots would have revolted if Trump nominated Rooty for AG.

Sessions has stated that he would resign if Rosenstein is fired. So why doesn’t Trump just fire Rosenstein and kill 2 birds with one stone?

At the time I listened to him on Fox And Friends basically turn down the job. He said he had had too many other irons in the fire. Who would known the situation would turn out as bad as it has.

And then we’d still have Sessions in the Senate, where he was good, and we wouldn’t have had to go through that special election and wound up with Doug Jones.
