That’s going to take decades of work.....the Souths people do not want reunification as they recognize the severe backwardness and expense it’s going to be if they all come running over the border. So the plans layed out will be step by step and limited border crossing to be sure
I’m actually thinking reunification will be on a schedule by then so no need for formal diplomatic ties.
I can’t figure out (from the Norks point of view) WHY are they making these concessions now instead of waiting to use these as cards to play in negotiations with Mr Trump?

Pyongyang is already home to some fast food restaurants, including hamburger restaurants and a “McDonald’s-style” fast food restaurant that closely resemble it.
