Worldwide cultural influencer and rap superstar Kanye West set himself free in a TMZ interview on Tuesday, saving his most scathing rebukes for the media.
“When they refer to fake news because it can be skewed and stuff, it is like the media and the liberals and the echo chamber and all that is having the most sore loss of all time,” West said in a wide-ranging talk with TMZ founder and host Harvey Levin.
The Grammy-winner said the media had become toxic especially when talking about President Donald Trump.
“It’s like torture porn,” Kanye West said. “We are going to keep showing you negative, negative, negative, negative, negative, when — these are human beings,” he said.
West appeared frustrated that the media was taking him out of context and attacking him for coming out and wearing one of Trump’s Make America Great Again campaign hats.
He said that his recent flood of free-speech was a result of feeling “connected with the universe.”
“Don’t try to ‘whacko-Jacko’ me for saying that, because that’s what the media is trying to do, they’re attacking me with these smoke screens that I am not going to fall for,” West said.
West took to Twitter on Tuesday to tweet a segment from his TMZ interview in which he declared how we will no longer be “controlled by the media.”

West would enrage the left and cut to the heart of the matter if he discussed the concept of the Democrat plantation holding blacks minds in chains for their votes. Accuse his detractors as being the overseers and mention LBJ’s “I’ll have those n*ggers voting democrat for the next 100 years”.

If you mean "fine" financially that would be true if he hasn't spent foolishly in the past...as many showbiz types do...and,as a result,he has a good nest egg.I could be wrong but I do believe that his *future* financial prospects,meaning income,aren't good at all.
And as for "slings and arrows" my gut says that few of his fans,nor the drive by media,would agree.

Thank you very much. I have been saying all along (well, about 3 decades) that journalism is negative. And that that was a part of the bias in journalism. I initially thought that journalism’s deadline-driven superficiality was the other component in its cynicism.The point that should have been obvious about that, but which didn’t click with me until relatively recently (late 2016, according to a quick check) is that anyone who knows that journalism is negative, and yet claims that journalism is objective, is a cynic. It is no more complicated than that. “Negativity = Objectivity” is a statement of cynicism.
