In a new book, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) writes that his battle with brain cancer has given him a sense of liberation to vote and speak his mind.
This is my last term, McCain writes in his upcoming book The Restless Wave, which he co-authored with former adviser Mark Salter. An excerpt of the book was posted Monday on Apple News.
If I hadnt admitted that to myself before this summer, a stage 4 cancer diagnosis acts as ungentle persuasion, McCain continues. Im freer than colleagues who will face the voters again. I can speak my mind without fearing the consequences much. And I can vote my conscience without worry. I dont think Im free to disregard my constituents wishes, far from it. I dont feel excused from keeping pledges I made. Nor do I wish to harm my partys prospects. But I do feel a pressing responsibility to give Americans my best judgment.

Politicians and lawyers. The only two professions that you lie to keep your job.
I think he will use this to try to justify his traitorous NWO positions.
This man hates Trump so much that he is going to expend what little energy he has left taking parting shots at Trump. mccaniac is an evil, evil man. I prey there is an after life and he gets whats coming to him.
All of his lamentable sentiments over missing the way politics used to be played, can be translated as, “I despise the fact that too many republicans are not voting with democrats.
McCain’s definition of “humility” and our need for more of it in politics is the height of hypocrisy on his part.
His disrespect for the American people’s choice for president in Donald Trump and his vicious attacks on the President and his pro-America agenda is the antithesis of humility.
Right....like you paid attention while playing poker on your ipad during the Syria debate?..
I predict he will either be cremated or buried where no one can get to the grave. He knows millions of Americans will be lining up to piss on it.
He probably voted with Freepers, say, 80% of the time. But when he wanted to pick a fight with us, he went all out, in the most condescending, backstabbing manner possible.
There is talk that gaming forums were used for comms. I thought that was interesting from last week.
More like I can speak my mind now because the huge checks will stop coming. Let me say though that while the big money was there to take, I was the best Senator money could buy.
Check your facts. It was the Community Reinvestment Act (Passed in 1977) and Attorney Corporal Reno's warning that lenders would find the full weight of the US Government would descend upon any mortgage lender who dared deny any mortgage application from a "person of color"
Please do.
Die, that is.
How To Be A RINO And Betray Your Constituents, by John McCain.
Bingo!
The CRA is what nearly wrecked the planet economically. Full stop. The banks created MBAs to move the debt off their books, and then they got stupid with them and started buying them for their own portfolios.
Evil, then stupid, and then we bailed them out, and then they got bonuses.
Don’t believe it. If you recall he was about to catch Obama when the bank liquidity crisis hit in September. Then McCain clammed up tight All he had to do was finish, but he shut his stupid mouth. Romney rolled over, too, after a very good first debate. It was like they both were taking orders to crown Obama king.
If McCain had the slightest sense of honor, dignity and ethics, he would resign his seat and give others a chance to win it. (I revere the Founders, but they made a genuine mistake in not putting Congressional term limits in the Constitution. They had entirely too much faith that people would not want to be professional politicians.)
His red face and constant laughter trying to make a joke of it evidenced his guilt and Wolf let him easily off the hook! So did the Republicans and the public.
One of the Keating Five tries to guilt trip AZ voters so his wife replaces him...and then flips to RAT
They don't have honor, they don't trust voters, they trust themselves to tell the Governor who to appoint when they die so they have an incumbent advantage..
