Alfie Evans, the 23-month old toddler at the centre of a High Court legal battle, has died, nearly a week after his life support was withdrawn.
The boy from Merseyside, who had a degenerative brain condition, died at 2:30 BST, his father Tom Evans said.....

It’s Europe....nobody who’s been paying attention should be even slightly surprised.Disgusted? maybe...surprised? no.
There are fates worse than death. The state loves those too!
"I'm from the government, and I'm here to help" is just as terrifying in Spanish.
Soon enough, the majority popolations in all developed nations, will come to the realization that it’s time to water the tree of liberty.
Sadly, i dont think it will happen. Look at how our congress wont pass the agenda people voted for in voting for Trump. And we do nothing. Theyve always stabbed us in the back. And we keep voting them back in.
Oh great - even better: the NHS most likely failed him twice, then: first, they failed to prevent the condition, then they refused to allow treatment. Brilliant.
Coming to an Obamacare near you.
Amen and second it.
If the latter was to happen, the seeds for a future rebellion will get planted.
I bet that if the parents had only made the baby’s name Muhammad Evans he would still be alive today.... This is what it is like to be a dhimmi under British government.
“The English told us to surrender our arms.
We shot them.”
Bravo to our Founding Fathers and the American Patriots.
Let’s never forget.
Murdered by government decree. Even convicted murderers live longer on DR.
Memory eternal!
This is what the West has become?
Good work, “medical” profession.
You must be very proud.
These judges and medical personnel may not answer to a higher power on Earth, but that doesn’t mean they escape justice. They will soon enough realize the price of their evil words and deeds.
Remember that the godless left wants this for our country, and the SJW, Communist Millennial filth will gladly usher this murder in here if we let them.
And without liberals...
There are so many to choose from. But IMO the final "agreement" that Alfie's parents were forced to make with the hospital was the worst.
They had to stand there and praise them and "build bridges" with them. They had to ask the protesters to go home so they could work with the hospital so their son could "have dignity".
(They did this same thing to Charlie Gard's parents. Somehow made them feel responsible for people the protesting and threatening the hospital staff, even though it was the hospital's monstrous actions that caused the protests . )
But back to the worst part of it:
This was not an "agreement", or Alfie's parents having new found love for the wonderful treatment of their child by "doctors" at that hospital.
This was a HOSTAGE NEGOTIATION they were forced to make with their son's kidnappers and killers to make sure he didn't die alone. Alfie's parents had "a change in attitude" so they could be by his side in his last moments.
I would have done exactly what they did in the same situation.
But that they had to do such a thing-beg to be with their son in his last moments , is just sickening.
How many threats have been made against Alfie's parents since the start of all this? the.
It would be nice if the doctors who signed the ethics letter complaining about how Alfie and his parents have been treated would follow through and investigate. (But I imagine they have been threatened as well, so nothing will happen.)
RIP little Alfie they can't hurt you anymore.
Prayers especially for Alfie's parents for peace and comfort. They will be haunted for the rest of their lives by what their brutal government did to their son.
Psalm 73
You give the state the right to dispense healthcare to its citizens, and ONLY the state will dispense healthcare to its citizens, or not.
Nigel understands the concept of freedom and choice. His fellow Brits do not. Farewell England!
RIP sweet baby boy Alfie
UK? Not so much.
