I hate to break it to these morons that lots of whites were lynched by lynch mobs.
It is not true that 81% of white homicide victims nationwide were killed by blacks. The great majority were killed by other whites.
Perhaps the 81% figure holds in San Francisco.

I hope they point out that many of the victims were lynched because they were Republicans.
These statistics are stunning. When death by police violence (not judging, just noting) is three times the total volume of death by violence for “whites” as for “blacks”, one must ponder the reality.

Maybe they should also include the (white) Catholics lynched by Protestant mobs in the South and California? San Francisco had a horrible incident where a mob lynched an Irish firefighter on his way home from work, along with several other Irish and French Catholics unfortunate enough to be on the street. The same was true in the South, where there were several lynchings of Catholics.
The KKK hated three groups: blacks, Catholics and Jews. The Jim Crow laws dealt with Catholics and blacks, and Jews just kept their heads down. However, in Miami in the 1920s, developers boasted “always a view, never a Jew” to sell their properties.
So, yes, we shouldn’t overlook this, but we have to resolve it and move ahead. Catholics and Jews, although still cautious in this newly atheistic USA, have recovered and blacks have to do the same.
Yes, it is sickening and I am reminded of that case any time my wife and I are off our property....especially out of our county.

If the memorial were to point out that many of the lynchings were done by Democrats for the crime of blacks voting Republican. Fact.
That isn’t part of the narrative. Did they count all the lynchings in New York City during the Draft Riots? Ha ha... You get One Guess.

Slavery is the default throughout human history, not the exception, when you get right down to it. The West ended it. Unfortunately the leftists largely have a lock on what passes for education. They have inculcated the belief in many that slavery was both exclusive only to Blacks and invented in the US. There are no words to describe how vile and disgusting people like that are. Notice they always want to talk about “context”.
Not when it comes to Anerican history. Nope - anybody 250 years ago that doesn’t hold 2018 opinions is fair game. See how that works.
They’ll say “So and so was a Slaveholder!!!” Yep. And you know what? There wasn’t a damn thing they could do about it, practically speaking. Know why? Because slaves were “property”, and were inherited like any thing else. And they were expensive. Consequently, one might find himself the owner of millions of dollars worth of human property! It’s really easy to sit back today and say all those mean ole’ slaveholders should have let them go free.
And do what then, and go where? What would they do? How would they eat? See how that worked? Have any of these asshats ever brought up any of this? Inheritance laws in those days were different.
Debtors prisons were legal and widespread. Rules of inheritance were different. In those days, one inherited debts as well as assets, and were responsible for them. Today of course once the estate is liquidated that’s the end of it.
I guess everybody forgets that white people were also lynched.

Is 1/3 of the memorial dedicated to the wytpepo lynched? And are the anti-lynching laws of 1918, that set America aside as one of the select countries that wouldn’t tolerate extra-judicial justice, mentioned at all?
And why is the memorial in Alabama, a former Spanish slave territory, instead of one of the urban northern/mid-west cities like Chicago, famous for lynchings and post-Civil War discrimination?
Looking at wiki, lynching seems to remain popular in Haiti, D.R., Mexico, South Africa, Nigeria, Palestine (and, not making the entry yet, Peru). Just in case anyone was thinking of traveling.
And it was Democrats who were doing it.
Just because someone was lynched (black or white) doesn’t mean there was no underlying crime committed by the person who was lynched.
Given the disparity in interracial violent crime rates since the 60’s, blacks have evened the score many times over.
Saint Skittles got a mention in a local news story about this monument last night, implying his death was equivalent to a lynching, and not a self-defense shooting. I yelled at the TV.
