NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) — The Latest on Bill Cosby’s sexual assault retrial (all times local):
1:25 p.m.
The jury is heading back to the courtroom and Bill Cosby’s defense team is saying there’s a verdict in his sexual assault retrial.
The panel of seven men and five women have been deliberating about 14 hours.
The 80-year-old comedian is accused of drugging and violating a woman at his suburban Philadelphia home in 2004.
He’s charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault. A conviction could put him in prison for up to 10 years on each count.

I still bet he never spends a minute in jail. Between the years of appeals and his already advanced age, either he will be given home confinement for medical reasons or die while out on bond during the appeals.

Bill Cosby is like school on Saturday.....No Class!
There will be no rioting.
The “yutes” of today don’t even know who Cosby is, and the few that do don’t care about an old washed up comedian.
Very sad. That little patch of fir has brought down more men than anything else.
His lawyers will keep him out of jail for life. He’s old.
His fortune will be at risk by endless lawsuits.

The conventional wisdom among lawyers is that a quick verdict means guilty and a long deliberation means acquittal, but I've seen many exceptions to that rule.
I guess that's a good point. I grew up with him. Clean and funny. Sad.
Agreed. The system wants his money more than his hide.
Back in 1970 a friend had a tape of Cosby telling some really funny sports stories. Part of the reason they were so funny is you could tell he had actually participated in them.
Having said that, I had no doubt he was guilty and hope he gets what he deserves.
I see it as a pure money grab
Crosby spoke to the black community about its issues.

Our neighbor ran a summer theater in the round. Naturally, she met each an every celebrity who performed and had plenty to say about all of them. QShe said Cosby was probably the worst. She was shocked at how different his private persona was from his public. She said he had such disdain for his fans.
Diana Ross was another horror.
