Congressmen Drops 50 Page BOMB on Bobby Mueller, Dems FREAK!
Constitution ^ | April 25, 2018 | Andrew West

Posted on 04/25/2018 8:21:21 PM PDT by deks

The report begins with this statement: "Robert Mueller has a long and sordid history of illicitly targeting innocent people that is a stain upon the legacy of American jurisprudence. He lacks the judgment and credibility to lead the prosecution of anyone."

“What I have accumulated here is absolutely shocking upon the realization that Mueller’s disreputable, twisted history speaks to the character of the man placed in a position to attempt to legalize a coup against a lawfully elected President,” writes GOP Congressman Louie Gohmert.

Gohmert is referring to the exhaustive expose he just released called: Robert Mueller: Unmasked. [linked in full in the article]

The 48 page read is fascinating highlighting some of the most bizarre bits of Bobby Mueller’s long history in the Deep State Swamp.

But Rudy’s said he has a lot of respect for Mueller, and looks forward to rapping the whole thing up in a week or so.

I would switch "which" for "that"--better grammar. 😉
----------------

"Use who for human beings; use that or which for nonhuman animals, and for things." --APA Sixth Edition

The use of "which" or "that" is still wrong in either case. The correct grammar would be to use "who" which would be the best use of grammar.

Robert Mueller has a long and sordid history of illicitly targeting innocent people that is a stain upon the legacy of American jurisprudence.

Try just:

Robert Mueller has a long and sordid history of illicitly targeting innocent people, a stain upon the legacy of American jurisprudence!

And follow with snark aimed at federal pigs such as Comey's counsel Robert Fitzgerald, whose life's achievement (putting away Scooter Libby) just got undone by POTUS, or Mueller's #1 goon Andrew Weissmann. Or Mueller himself.

Congressman Gohmert confirms: Mueller is a weasel.

A very good read. Mueller’s failure to produce indicates he’s fabricating corrupt evidence for enemies of the Constitution, if he is consistent with his past behavior. Track who he’s communicating with.

Decent summary.
I might add, skip the 1st 3 pages of the report.

35-year attorney here. The sentence makes perfect sense.

The phrase that precedes the word “that” reads like the subject, not a modifier. The sentence may diagram either way but it sounds really really awkward when read out loud from a common sense point of view. Legalese is not for everyone - especially the common sense crowd. The casual observer would see this instantly - if they looked.

"Congressman Gohmert confirms: Mueller is a weasel."

He may be, but according to the "pundits", he's an "honorable" weasel....

Well it would have been nice had Rosenstein initiated a background investigation into Mueller prior to appointing him. It would have turned up the same info that Ghomert just released. And Mueller and his hired goon squad would have never happened.

Maybe there should be a law requiring such a background investigation, led by an independent office branch of the AG. Then if Rosenstein failed to follow the law, he could be fired or impeached. And Mueller shut down.

Oh wait...there is such a law!!!

28 CFR 603:

(b) The Attorney General shall consult with the Assistant Attorney General for Administration to ensure an appropriate method of appointment, and to ensure that a Special Counsel undergoes an appropriate background investigation and a detailed review of ethics and conflicts of interest issues.”

Did Rosenstein do this?!? Did he follow the law?

I sent this to DeSantis, my Representative, yesterday. And asked the nice woman fo ask that question. Will follow up today, and also call Ghomert’s folks.

Yes, “stain” refers back to “history”, which are both singular. It is crystal clear unless you take the words out of context.

Bullshit, dude. Obviously you are a leftist shill trying to kick up dirt where none exists. And no the common sense approach is not to parse the sentence like a Clinton but to give it the obviously unintended meaning.

Robert Mueller has a long and sordid history of illicitly targeting innocent people that is a stain upon the legacy of American jurisprudence.

If you parse the sentence, .....innocent people that is the stain.... makes no sense. It does not imply anyting.

I failed English three times in high school, but let me take a crack at this. I think everything is modifying the object of the sentence history.

Robert Mueller has a history

-of illicitly targeting innocent people

-that is a stain upon the legacy of American jurisprudence.

-(it is) long and sordid

I think if the stain part of the sentence was supposed to modify people and not history, then it would have to be who are instead of that is.

So the sentence structure seems correct to me. But again, I have a history of failure.

Louie Gomert undoubtedly got his material from Hannity

Howie Carr. He lived in the courtrooms during the whole ordeal.
