Why does the name Patrick Fitzgerald sound familiar? He was the special prosecutor who went after Scooter Libby - and appointed by Comey.
Fitzgerald said of VP Cheney: "There is a cloud over ... the vice president". This despite the fact that he knew State Department official Richard Armitage without apparent ill intent leaked Plame info to a reporter.

Was Cheryl Mills not available? Just slip her a 20 and voila, attorney-client privilege.

I’m not holding my breath until the DoJ raids the attorneys office and home, and seizes the files of all of his clients.
Because as we all know, different rules for different folks.

I could be wrong but I think that Fitzgerald was once connected to either the US Attorney’s office in Boston or the Boston FBI office. If I’m correct it should be noted that Muller was once the director of the FBI office.

Ooops...should have made clear that it was the Boston FBI office that Fitzgerald was possibly assigned to,as Muller definitely was.

"Prior to his appointment, Fitzgerald served as Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York for 13 years and as Chief of the Organized Crime-Terrorism Unit since December 1995."
Same district going after Cohen. It was Mueller who was in Boston. Comey appointed Patrick Fitzgerald to be the Special Counsel to head the grand jury investigation into the Plame affair after Attorney General John Ashcroft recused himself.

Should be interesting, as they were deliberately “lost” and they cover an important time period.
