Right since climate change is so local and all.

I read the article, but it didn’t say over what time frame the losses would occur. Without a specific time frame, their study cannot empirically tested. I wonder if they intended it that way.

This is pure speculation bordering on daydreaming.

I’m a little leery of big things like that that can’t be undone, especially if the government is involved.

Wind from the East, Fish bite least.
Wind from the South, blows the hook out of their mouth.
Wind from the West, Fish bite best. :)
Wind from the North, few Sailors set forth.

I agree regarding this being one of the coolest Springs in the DFW area. I’m a night owl in Grapevine and haven’t used a/c this season. I have used a couple of small electric heaters late at night and early a.m., though. Being in my mid-70s, I now understand why my grandparents kept their houses too warm for me.

Dear Texas Freepers,
Please deciminate this doomsday report, as widely as you can, to every known Looney Liberal in Texas.
If we get very lucky, maybe they will pack up and move to a safer state.

"Im a little leery of big things like that that cant be undone, especially if the government is involved." Oh, I'm sure there will be plenty of hard evidence needed before any such action was taken, but I am also sure that the damage of a real Ice Age would be more than sufficient to justify the attempt.

Yeah. Hopefully we’ll be long gone before it becomes an issue.
